Former Vanderpump Rules co-stars Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz are collaborating on a new business. The two have teased the possibility of opening a new bar but they both have other ideas. So, what have the two longtime besties come up with? Keep reading for more details.
Jax Taylor & Tom Schwartz Collab On New Business
It has been an interesting year for Jax Taylor. He has had success with his new bar, Jax’s Studio City though some will attribute that to it being connected to the already established Rocco’s Tavern. Additionally, the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley has done immensely well. The ratings have been amazing and even landed the series a second season. At the same time, Jax and his wife, Brittany Cartwright have separated so that has been a hard part for 2024. Luckily, he has his close friend, Tom Schwartz who is usually down for anything.

Vanderpump Rules is changing its production schedule, opting to not film season 12 this summer.
TMZ first reported that unlike previous seasons of the hit Bravo reality series, which typically begin production in May and film throughout the summer, Vanderpump Rules‘ upcoming season won’t begin taping until later.
Sources told the publication that the network felt the cast deserved a break to “let their lives breathe a bit in the wake of Scandoval,” with hopes of some fresh drama that doesn’t involve the Tom Sandoval-sparked scandal from the spring of 2023. An additional factor in the decision to not film this summer is Ariana Madix’s stint as host of Love Island USA, as she will be filming in Fiji for a few months.
Though TMZ didn’t share when production is expected to pick up for season 12, it noted that it won’t be a full-year hiatus.

The face of Bravo is speaking out about the surprising decision to pause one of the network’s biggest shows.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Vanderpump Rules is going on hiatus following the upcoming Season 11 finale.
Instead of the cameras picking back up in the summer like previous seasons of the long-running series, the cast is on hiatus for several months before production gets underway on Vanderpump Rules Season 12.
On his SiriusXM show, the Watch What Happens Live host said pausing successful series isn’t a new concept.
“We used to do this all the time with the Housewives,” he dished.
“We would say, ‘You know what? Let’s put cameras down for, you know, four or five months and come back to them,’ and they will have lived, you know, life,” he added.
“Things will be different,” he affirmed.

Lala Kent is experiencing “anxiety” as Vanderpump Rules Season 11 starts filming. The fallout of “Scandoval” continues and the Bravo cameras are set to start capturing the drama this week according to the Give Them Lala Beauty founder.
“We start filming on Wednesday and it’s like giving me anxiety,” Kent shared during an Amazon Live session.

Ever since Ariana Madix’s name blew up in headlines earlier this year, it appears the reality star has been able to turn her heartbreak into profitable endeavours.
After news broke back in March that her now-ex boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her with their friend and co-star, Raquel Leviss, Madix has taken on several brand partnerships — many of which have direct references to her dramatic breakup — and previously revealed on the “Vanderpump Rules” season 10 reunion that she’s made $200,000 in merchandise sales from her and co-star Katie Maloney’s website, Something About Her, which they launched for their upcoming sandwich shop business.

Ariana Madix isn’t wasting any time turning a hurtful remark into a business opportunity.
Following part three of Wednesday’s “Vanderpump Rules”‘s season 10 reunion, the reality star unveiled a new T-shirt she’s selling, inspired by a cruel comment her ex Tom Sandoval said about having sex with her.
One of the episode’s many explosive moments came when host Andy Cohen asked Sandoval if he’d slept with anyone else after engaging in a months-long affair with co-star Raquel Leviss.
“You know who he did sleep with after him and Raquel started sleeping together? Me,” Madix chimed in. Her response quickly prompted Sandoval who fired back: “She kept her T-shirt on. It was really hot.”

Ariana Madix is laughing her way to the bank after cashing in on Tom Sandoval’s “sick” comment from the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
During Wednesday night’s third and final part of the drama-filled reunion, Sandoval shaded his ex-girlfriend for keeping herself covered when they got intimate. When asked whether he had slept with anyone else amid his affair with Raquel Leviss, Madix, who started dating him in 2014, quipped, “You know who he did sleep with after him and Raquel started sleeping together? Me.”
“She kept her T-shirt on,” Sandoval responded.

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are opening up about Vanderpump Rules Season 11 and if they would come back if Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss return to the show.
Sandoval and Leviss have isolated themselves from the group after they had a secret affair for several months. Madix had been in a long-term relationship with Sandoval and had a close friendship with Leviss. Maloney had issues with Leviss when the beauty queen tried to make moves on her ex-husband Tom Schwartz.
In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Madix and Maloney talk about what the new season would look like for them.
“It’s not up to us who comes back. I’m just going to be doing me. Me doing me means they are not a part of my life,” Madix said.

Tonight’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the fourteenth of its revivifying tenth season, was supposed to be the season finale. Season Ten was supposed to end with Ariana and Katie celebrating the menu of their feminist WeHo sandwich shop Something About Her, followed by Lisa Vanderpump blowing out the candles of her birthday cake at Sur before delivering a heartwarming, made-for-tv speech about how much she loves everyone. But that didn’t happen, because Tom Sandoval (and by extension Raquel) can never not suck all the oxygen out of the room.

Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix are opening a sandwich shop.
When Katie’s now ex-husband Tom Schwartz opened Schwartz and Sandy’s with his best friend, Tom Sandoval, it pretty much put the nail in the coffin of his marriage. Maloney felt ignored and that her opinion didn’t matter.
Another issue for Maloney was that she had always wanted to open a sandwich shop, and her husband put that project on the back burner because he was busy with the bar.
Madix then stepped in to partner with Maloney.

“Vanderpump Rules” — after two fallow seasons of grim plots and uninspired storylines — has risen from the ashes in Season 10, and its ratings are spiking as a result.
The show’s 10th season was already filled with old school “Vanderpump Rules” drama, caused largely by fallout from breakups among the core cast. That resurgence was before the March 3 revelation about the show’s cheating scandal — aka, the #Scandoval — made international headlines, with even the New York Times offering an explainer for its readership.
Now, Bravo is further stoking the fandom’s ardor for more, dropping the show’s midseason teaser, and within it revealing the first look at the episode filmed earlier this month: Production restarted on Season 10 after the news broke about Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ months-long affair, which blew up his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.

Filming for Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules has finally come to an end, and another Pump Rules business venture is seemingly coming to fruition as Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop officially makes its debut.
The Vanderpump Rules co-stars have been working on their sandwich shop named Something About Her since Season 9.
After Katie was left feeling on the outs of her then-husband Tom Schwartz’s newest venture with his Bff Tom Sandoval, Ariana stepped up and agreed to go into business with Katie.
Katie knew she wanted to open a sandwich shop, that was always the plan, and luckily for the You’re Gonna Love Me podcast host, Ariana was on board with the idea.

Prostitutes, once a staple of the Broadway musical, have been keeping a low profile in recent years. The old fantasy of sleeping with guys and making good money yielded long ago to real horror stories of exploitation, sexism, drug addiction and human trafficking. None of which has stopped Garry Marshall and J. F. Lawton from turning their hit 1990 movie “Pretty Woman” into a Broadway musical, which opened Thursday at the Nederlander Theatre.
Marshall directed the movie and Lawton wrote the screenplay, and they’re credited this time around as writers of the book, which means “Pretty Woman” the musical is a too-faithful adaptation of the original.
They have made one small but important update. The heroine’s seamy occupation is acknowledged at the get-go by turning her first song into a heartfelt lament, “Anywhere but Here,” effectively delivered in country style by a strong-voiced Samantha Barks.

The moment Samantha Barks smiles and sings near the beginning of this musical adaptation of the film “Pretty Woman,” we know things are going to be Ok. The sense that this show — not exactly a match with the #MeToo era — has missed its cultural moment never completely disappears but it does dissipate, becoming at least semi-irrelevant when confronted with Barks’ big personality and even bigger voice. She proves highly capable of sweeping us up, if not completely away, into this faithfully scripted (by the movie’s late director Garry Marshall and original screenwriter J.F. Lawton), blandly scored (by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance), capably but not imaginatively directed (by Jerry Mitchell) version of the 1990 mega hit that launched Julia Roberts into stratospheric superstardom.

Every year internationally renowned identical twin filmmakers, the Soska Sisters ("American Mary," "See No Evil 2"), invite you to bleed for an incredibly good cause: Women inHorror’s PSA for a Massive Blood Drive . Donating blood is something many people find off-putting and terrifying. By using humor, innovation, and provocative imagery, this PSA will encourage viewers to face their fears and donate to the cause.
For this occasion, the Soska Sisters are launching an anthology of horror shorts directed by celebrated women filmmakers from around the world.
Women in Horror Recognition Month (WiHM) assists female genre artists in gaining opportunities, exposure, and education through altruistic events, printed material, articles, interviews, and online support. The collaborative vision is a world wherein all individuals have equal opportunity to create, share, and engage in freedom of expression.
The Soska Sisters and Women in Horror have invited award winning Canadian filmmaker Patricia Chica to present her darkly comic short
"Ripe N’ Bloody" to be included in this anthology of films from some of the most innovative, unique, and irreverent female directors across the globe.
“I am a huge fan of the Soska Twins’ work, so I’m thrilled to be part of this project which supports two causes that are dear to my heart: the empowerment of Women in Film and Blood Donation," says Patricia Chica.
“I started getting involved with blood donation when my mother was diagnosed with leukemia in 2002 and needed a lot of transfusions in order to survive. It made me realize how important each litter of blood was for the survival of my own mother and all of the patients at the hospital who were suffering from similar conditions. My recent film"Ceramic Tango" dealt with the issue of blood and HIV awareness”, explains the director.
“This PSA is not only aligned with my purpose of making films that serve society and elevate the viewers' consciousness but it was morbidly fun to make! ”, concludes Patricia Chica.
"Ripe N’ Bloody" is a Canadian production that was written by award winning filmmaker-screenwriter Kamal John Iskander ("Jesus Comes to Town," "Montréal Girls"), produced by Patricia Chica, Grace Santos (Odessa, Silk), and veteran Byron A. Martin ("Serpent's Lullaby," "My Babysitter is a Vampire"). The short was executive produced by Tara Kurtz ("Blue Weekend,""Something About Her"), co-executive produced by Adonai Interiano of Hni Productions, and artist Morris Umali. Practical effects were created by Danny McCarthy of 800 Lb Guerilla. Visual effects were created by Henry Lipatov, Anton Golovchenko, and the crew at Fame Cube based in the Ukraine. Director of photography Imad Rhayem, production designer Gabrielle Giraud, and makeup artist Valentina Badaracco round out the production team. Starring Leonard Waldner, Stephen Brewster, Andrea Fletcher, Keira McCarthy, and introducing Marco Reilly.
An expanded version of the short will be presented on the festival circuit during the 2015/2016 season.

Washington, August 15: David Arquette has reportedly been dumped from his upcoming film project 'Something About Her' for being drunk on the set.
A source revealed to Radar Online that the director had no other choice but to sack him as everyone in the set was disappointed and irritated by the 41-year-old actor.
The insider said that Arquette wasn't prepared that day and later on it was realised that he had shown up in an inebriated condition.
However, Carl Colpaert the director of the flick insisted that Arquette left the project simply because Anthony Michael Hall was better suited for the role and later replaced.
