Skate Night is a thrilling ride through the streets of the most amazing city in the world -- New York City -- in the company of an amazing group of exuberant New Yorkers eager to share the joy of skating and their love for the city. Watching the film, zooming along with the cinematographer, makes you feel as though you are skating yourself, even if you have never been on skates in your life. As a viewer you feel the exhilaration in the skaters experience, and share in the companionship they find in each other. The score is terrific, the editing, energetic and artful. Very well worth your time. It will stay with you!
