Miles and Mason the sheriff are both being held in cages on Titus' compound next to a mysterious red door. A woman being held with them knows only that "people go in and they don't come out." Titus' guards come out of the red door and take blood samples from both Miles and the sheriff. After looking at the blood the men shoot Mason in the head and leave Miles alive.
Aaron and Rachel talk about what has happened. His heart was stopped for more than two hours and they agree it has to be related to the nanotech. Aaron doesn't understand what is happening to him.
