The film began to be shot in 1994, mixing scenes recorded on video and filmed in 8 mm. In 1997 a first cut was made, but it was completely lost as the original footage. Decades later the material was found again. Some scenes were completely silent and others with sound totally useless. Using the original script of the film as a base, a new dubbing was done between July and August 2017, directed by Adán Latonda in his studio, Fonofox (Madrid), as well as a complete sound post-production. Some actors could reprise their original roles, others had to be replaced due to schedule conflicts. Paul Naschy, who died in 2009 was dubbed by voice actor Héctor Cantolla, who had already doubled him on other occasions. The final cut of the movie was finally shown on Sitges Film Festival on October 2017.
Luciano Berriatúa and Santiago Segura are mentioned with the top billed cast at the end of the movie, but they are both uncredited on the cast list.
