Andy steps up
r-dixon312 April 2024
As usual everyone was involved in this episode. The writers produce amazing scripts deserving of major awards. Drama, danger, sadness, empathy, romance. Week after week Station 19 gets better and better. How this can be cancelled is delusional there are many other series renewed that come nowhere near the quality of Station 19. Andy does what leader does guiding her team step by step even when it is unpopular. Strong female characters throughout this episode.

Again it needs saving please by another network Prime. Apple. HBO. Netflix. BBC. Strange that Greys is renewed but not its sister programme.

Everything we wanted it to be and more!

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 100 was everything we wanted it to be and more. The writers managed to tackle a major storyline for (most) of the key characters in the space of 45 minutes which is a true testament to their talent as nothing felt rushed or under-explained.

It's too hard to choose just one highlight of the episode because it was all so well done, but I'm especially keen to see where Vic's storyline goes now - she's had her own mental health struggles throughout the season, but now combined with the loss of Crisis One and her job is at stake. Barrett Doss continues to knock it out of the park episode after episode!

It's About Time

Warning: Spoilers
Wow! Wow! Wow! Finally Captain Andy Herrera gets pinned in the centennial episode. Such an incredible moment to see her bestie Lieutenant Maya Bishop do the honor.

This episode not only was the 100th episode but it showed so much in such a short timeframe. Imagine if they were really truly able to give an episode like this more than just one episode. There is so much to tell and dissect.

First off what's up with Vic not used to seeing her like this. It's like her and Theo reversed roles in a sense. We got Theo changing when he went to his old neighborhood then we see Vic breakdown after her and Beckett talking. After that the shift happens. So much to explore and understand.

Second we get Maya apologizing to Beckett for giving him the bottle of whiskey. To seeing him not listen to her and be reckless on a call. To Maya oh Maya saying they were the same uniform and will always have each other's backs. How truly inspiring to see the camaraderie come to fruition.

Third we get Sully dropping the ring oh my the ring. Guess who steps on it? None other than the person he wants to propose to. LOVE is beautiful and kind.

Fourth we get this phenomenal scene when Carina shows how much of a baddie she is. Then we get her waiting oh yes waiting at the station in Maya's room on her bed with Liam. 💗💗💗 When she walks in sees the blood on her sweater and goes to Carina to check to make sure she's good....how beautifully sweet tender and so absolutely heartwarming. Oh wait a minute then you get this moving moment when Carina can't get pregnant due to her eggs not being viable 😭😭😭 wait for it then the epiphany when Maya looks at her wife with this empowering gaze of comfort how magical. Wait then there's one more thing when Maya asks if Carina can get pregnant if they use her egg. My heart oh my heart is full of so much LOVE for them and their beautiful journey. "Per favore amore mio" 💞💞💞

Last but not least we finally after 7 Seasons get our Captain getting pinned. Her speech and seeing her journey of perseverance. Truly inspiring moment to never give up on your dreams. Let's go Captain Andy Herrera our Captain of Captains...

Let the good and bad things in life that occur continue to teach us a lesson. As long as we learn a lesson we will always grow in this magnificent magical way. Once NINETEEN Alway NINETEEN for now forever for eternity...
