- Arrow offers to train Roy so he can learn to control his newfound super-strength. However, Roy is a rebellious student and refuses to listen unless Arrow reveals his true identity, which Oliver refuses to do. Meanwhile, the Bronze Tiger escapes from prison and steals Malcolm's earthquake machine to sell to the highest bidder. Oliver, Diggle and Felicity attempt to stop the transfer, but Roy gets in the way, putting everyone in danger. Laurel is disbarred and spirals out of control. Moira is thrilled when Walter asks her to dinner, but his reason surprises her. Thea encourages her mother to ask Walter to reconcile.—Anonymous
- Realizing the danger Roy is putting himself and others in, Arrow decides to try and train him in the hope he can learn to control both his newfound strength and his temper. He proves to be a difficult student. Bronze Tiger has broken out of prison thanks to arms merchant Milo Armitage who wants to get his hands on Malcolm Merlyn's prototype earthquake machine. Moira accepts a dinner invitation with Walter Steele, who is now working for the Sterling National Bank, and Mark Francis who want to discuss Sebastian Blood who they as a threat to the city. In fact, they want Moira to run against Blood in the upcoming election. Laurel rejects her father's attempt to get her into a self-help group. She becomes despondent when she learns she may be disbarred. In a flashback to the island, Oliver and Sara try to locate Slade.—garykmcd
- We open with a man being placed in a cell with Ben Turner. He tells Turner of a meeting place, saying he's doing this for his son and then starts pulling sharp metal pieces out of his body. A guard finds the man lying on the ground. When he turns his back Turner kills him with a knife-style brass knuckle.
Arrow is training Roy. He tells him of the dangers of what is inside his body, referencing Slade.
Back on the island Sara and Queen are looking for Slade. She thinks he shouldn't tell Slade he feels responsible for Shado's death.
Thea talks to Moira about her issues with Roy. Moira will be meeting with Walter.
Lance drops by Laurel's place. He says he's there because he misses her. He asks her to dinner the following night.
Queen tells Digs and Felicity about working with Roy. Felicity tells them that Turner/Bronze Tiger has escaped.
Bronze Tiger keeps his meeting. He's told he is being hired to retrieve "an item" which will kill thousands of people.
Arrow talks to Roy about channeling his anger in a positive way. Roy wants to go out and help him for a night.
Moira has dinner with Walter and a businessman named Mark who is heavily involved in politics. They both thinks Blood will be bad for the city and are looking for someone to beat him. They are considering her.
Lance and Laurel go to dinner. They walk in and she sees he's brought her to an AA meeting. She storms out and tells him she doesn't think those people know what she's been through.
Felicity tells Arrow that Turner has stolen the plans for Merlin's home. Arrow asks Roy to join him.
At Merlin's place Turner and some men enter through the garage. In a safe they find a prototype for Merlin's earthquake device. Arrow and Roy come down and order Turner away from the device. Arrow and Turner fight while Roy breaks into the getaway truck holding the device. Turner manages to escape while Roy pounds on one of Turner's men.
Queen tells Digs and Felicity what happened with Turner. They need to figure out who Turner was working for. Queen is seeing similarities between Slade and Roy.
Back on the island Queen figures out Slade is trying to blow up the freighter.
Roy tells Thea she needs to leave town for a few days but he can't tell her why. When she needs a reason he starts getting angry.
Laurel has an interview with her friend Joann, who works at a firm. She's been told not to hire Laurel and tells her that the bar is about to open disciplinary hearings.
Walter has done some polling and says quite a few residents think Moira's actions were justified. He also thinks voters like redemption stories. Thea walks in and learns what's going on. She doesn't think the idea is crazy.
Roy asks Arrow for help keeping secrets from loved ones. Arrow tells him to get control, "for Thea." This makes Roy angry and he goes after Arrow. He says if Arrow stops him from trying to stop the machine he'll be sorry.
Digs wonders if perhaps Roy is just "broken." Queen is adamant he won't let what happen to Slade happen to Roy. Thea calls Queen to tell him Laurel showed up at the club and is embarrassingly drunk.
Queen goes up to the club and tries to cut Laurel off. She tells him about her law career perhaps being in jeopardy. Felicity comes up and tells Queen that a man named Armitage is the one behind the device being stolen.
Back on the island Queen tries to stop Slade from blowing up the boat, since it's their only way off the island. Slade pulls a gun on him.
Moira drops by the club. She suggests she try and save the city instead of beating herself up.
Turner is paid $10 million for his services. Arrow shows up and begins firing arrows. Turner jumps on him from behind and sticks one of his "claws" into Arrow's shoulder. Armitage starts the device. Arrow stops Roy from pounding on Turner, in the process revealing his true identity. He tells him to help destroy the device, for Thea. Roy punches a hole in the container and they blow up the device. Roy thanks Queen for saving his life and they shake hands. He says "we're just getting started."
Felicity is worried that Queen has told a loose cannon like Roy his secret. He responds that as the Arrow he couldn't get Roy to think about Thea.
Back on the island Queen tells Slade he needs to tell him something about Shado. He says Shado would have wanted him to make it home to the island. He says he won't let Slade go through this alone. Queen's plan is for them to take the freighter.
Moira tells Walter she'll run. They talk about Robert not being Thea's biological father and that possibly being an issue. Her obstetrician knows the truth.
A woman named Amanda Wahler visits Turner in prison. She says she's putting together a "squad" and wants him to be a part as a way to work off his sentence.
Arrow brings Roy to HQ. He tells her that Thea can never know his secret. He introduces them to Digs and Felicity.
Laurel stumbles home drunk. She rolls over and finds herself staring up at Sara.
