Joseph (Macleish Day) has been working hard to make partner with his Law firm boss Veronica (Ava Gaudet of Ugly Betty). However all work and no play makes Joseph a dull boy as his buddy Alex (Escher Holloway of When A Stranger Calls) puts it. Deciding not to head to the annual christmas holiday partyAlex fumes over the fact that joseph is not getting out to hang and meeting women. Continuing on with the mundane hard work of trying to make partner Josephs luck changes in the women department when he meets a new work colleague named Katie (Whitney Anderson of Prehysteria 3). He is smitten as if it was love at first sight. Katie is intrigued if Joe is going to the christmas holiday party. Of course Joe accepts the invitation. Alex being the wingman buddy that he is gives him crap. The party is on but not as festive as beforeKatie and joe hope to ignite there connection to more than just work colleagues but have to refill the drinks to break the awkwardness of the party. Joseph gets a drink and runs into his boss only to find out that the only way to make partner is to do something he is not wanting to do. In a series of fun trials and tribulations Joseph must make the final decision of whats more important Love or Career.
