- Mike J.: Hello, I'm a British person, and I just don't know what it is about Christmas that makes people want to steal other people's ideas. If you ask me, it's game over, man! Game over! One movie which is apparently popular to try and emulate at the moment is Home Alone, and one film that attempts that in a strange sort of way is Home & Alone for Christmas, or as it's known in America, 3 Day Test. Why rename it? Did the American audiences not understand that it was meant to be a Home Alone rip-off? It was only when they released it in the UK, and actually called it "Home AND Alone for Christmas", that people realised it was a Christmas movie, and also, a Home Alone wannabe!
- [does a lot of scoffing before starting the review]
- Mike J.: Yeah, I'm done. It also stars our new friend, George Newbern, who really wanted to make two Christmas movies in 2012. And he deserves more than this as well, because he's actually a pretty good actor. But oh well, let's take a look at Home & Alone for Christmas. Did they seriously have to call it that? Well done, marketing team.

- Mike J.: This film; I don't get it. It's confused, it isn't funny, it's full of propaganda. The performances are all fine, but the cast really don't have that much to work with. I really do like the premise of this, and maybe they should go back at some point and have another stab at it, because something good is buried deep inside there. And the bad news is this isn't the only Home Alone rip-off to come out recently.
- [sighs]
- Mike J.: Good old Asylum.
