- Bill's refusal to the cure angers Sookie. Sparks fly yet again between Hoyt and Jessica, much to Bridget's dismay who then turns to Jason.
- Open with Sookie and Jessica trying to understand why Bill is saying he doesn't want to cure himself. Bill says he's choosing true death, which infuriates both women. Sookie wants to know why but Bill says he has "no words." Jessica then demands that Bill release her, which he does.
Sookie brings Jessica to Sam's place and finds it empty. There is an envelope addressed to Sookie on the table. It's a letter from Sam explaining that he's left town for Chicago with Nicole.
Sookie goes to Bellefleur's with Jessica. Arlene's plan is to open the doors and wait for customers to show up. Sookie tells everybody that Sam's left. She takes Andy to a back room and gives him his letter from Sam. Andy's letter is simply Sam resigning. Jessica tells James about her conversation with Lafayette. She apologizes for not caring enough to get to know him better. She says she's happy he and Lafayette are going to be happy together. Jessica leaves.
Brigette tells Hoyt she wants an explanation for what he said about not wanting to have kids. He says it isn't her, he just isn't sure if he's at that place yet. She asks about Jessica and Hoyt says he'd never seen her before. Hoyt admits he saw Jessica earlier that day when he helped out giving his blood to Bill. He swears that's the truth, and she starts to believe him. There is a knock at the door. It's Jessica, who says she knows Hoyt but Hoyt doesn't know her. Brigette says she doesn't understand how that's possible, but Jessica assures her it is. Jessica tells Hoyt they used to be together romantically. Brigette says she doesn't want to hear it and asks Jessica to leave. She says if Hoyt goes outside to hear what Jessica has to say it's the end of their relationship. Hoyt apologizes and goes out to speak with Jessica. Jessica tells Hoyt about Bill and the cure. She tells him he's the first man she ever loved and thought he might understand her. Hoyt comforts her.
Jason's phone rings. It's Brigette, who is crying and wants him to come get her. She tells him Jessica showed up and dropped the glamour bomb, that she and Hoyt broke up, and that this whole mess is weird. Jason assures her it's about to get a whole lot weirder, and he's on his way.
Sookie doesn't feel like joining Arlene's huge dinner party. Arlene tells her about Keith and the fact they can't have sex. Sookie says Bill's dying and that she's responsible. Arlene is eventually able to talk Sookie into joining them.
Eric pays Bill a visit at his place. He explains that he'd felt just as Bill did when he was in France and blames the disease. Eric is there because of Sookie, that Bill is being unfair to her. Bill thinks he needs to die for her to move on. He thinks Sookie's light is what draws them together. Bill tells Eric about his fever dream of Sookie and the black void baby. Bill thinks all they can give Sookie is death. Bill wants the chance to explain things to Sookie and Eric agrees to help.
Jason arrives at Hoyt's place and is immediately punched in the face by Hoyt. He wakes up in the squad car with Brigette behind the wheel. He convinces her there's no need for him to seek medical attention and says they should go to his place. He tells her they aren't having sex that night. Brigette seems slightly put off by that assumption, remarking that she JUST broke up with Hoyt, and sex is the last thing on her mind.
Cut to Fangtasia and Gus Jr.'s men bringing Sarah upstairs. She's brought to Pam, who wants to dye Sarah's hair blonde.
Jason helps Brigette get the flight she needs so she can return home the following day. Afterwards, as Jason ices his eye, he talks himself out of going back into Brigette's room, and ices another part of his anatomy to help with his will power.
Jessica explains to Hoyt why then broke up. It sounds like they are both in a better place. Jessica heals his hand.
Pam explains to Sarah that they'll be selling her like a common hooker.
Brigette surfaces from her room and tells Jason she can't sleep. They start drinking beers and he explains that he and Hoyt used to be best friends, and girls always came easy to him to him and not to Hoyt. She thinks he's sweet and kind, which leads to Jason explaining what happened with him and Jessica while she was with Hoyt. He tells Brigette about Hoyt having his memory erased and that Hoyt and Jessica belong together. During this conversation we see Hoyt and Jessica having sex. Brigette then brings him to bed, saying she's going to teach him now not to have sex with someone.
Outside of Bellefleur's Eric calls over to Sookie. He tells her about the conversation with Bill and says he thinks she should speak with him. Eric offers her a lift home, but she reminds him he doesn't have car. He picks her up and takes flight.
Brigette and Jason lie in bed together and talk. They share secrets and he says he wants kids but is afraid of having a girl, because she might end up with someone like him. Brigette says his daughter would be lucky to date a guy like him.
Eric leaves Sookie at her place. Bill calls and says he's going to come over. On Bill's way he stops at several of the Compton family tombstone.
Eric arrives at Fangtasia. Ginger is upset she didn't know about him being cured and he tells her to make it up to her he'll have sex with her. She asks about her Hep-V and he says he's immune. They have hilariously brief sex (on Ginger's part) before she collapses on the floor in euphoric bliss. A frustrated Eric walks off.
Eric goes downstairs and finds Pam strapped to a table with a huge stake hanging above her. Gus Jr.'s is there with his men and wants Eric to tell him if Sookie knows about Sarah. Eric admits that Sookie knows and Gus Jr. asks for Sookie's address.
Cut to Bill on Sookie's porch. He looks in at her and knocks on the door as the episode ends.
