When Vee walks the ladder, she is holding her 'phone in her outstretched right hand (which is balancing her), but the phone's POV is straight down her body to her feet.
The first time Nancy calls Tommy while he's driving, after he answers, it's an iPhone screen. When the camera angle changes to Tommy's face, in the reflection on the windshield it's an android screen.

Sydney says that game has no main server and all player's phones act as independent servers. This is impossible for a phone using mobile internet. Even it they would be on WiFi, other users would not know which server (IP) to connect, to watch players - they would need to find out each players IP address and then connect to it. This is why all apps use one main server.
At one point, Ian weaves in and out of the traffic whilst blindfolded, steering left and right to avoid the cars, without any audible instructions from Vee. According to the letter Vee receives by email, this film's story begins on March 20, 2017, yet the next day her high school has a football rally, which is unusual since football is a fall sport. Also, she is shown joining the Nerve game on the night of the next day, March 21, 2017, but the bank website shows the date of April 20, 2017. Later in the film, an online discussion forum shows comments about the current game dated in 2016, not 2017.
Vee's email shows that the college she wants to attend asks her to accept admission and become a part of the class of 2020. If this movie takes place in 2017 like it is shown in other scenes, she would be a part of the class of 2021.
