The film was shot during a train ride from Paris to Clermont-Ferrand (France), with a crew of 5 technicians and 5 actors using Canon 5D DSLR. Dina Rosenmier, wanted to play lead woman's character at any cost so she flew from Los Angeles to Paris at her own cost and made her own arrangement for accommodation during the shoot.
Though the landscape from Paris to Clermont-Ferrand is beautiful, none of that is seen from the train window simply because the Director did not want the viewers to shift focus from characters to landscape. More importantly, since the main characters are oblivious of the landscape, the Director felt viewers too should remain oblivious.
The Director wanted a spontaneous chemistry between the characters, hence he did not allow any of the actors to meet before the shoot. All of them actually met straight at the shoot. During the post, four different endings were tried and finally a mysterious, unclear finale was chosen.
