best short film ever
zsellenberg31 May 2016
This is a great short film, the story is a classic throwback to the old horror comedy films I love, the classic don't go in there theme works every time, the characters remind me of something from a Quentin Tarantino film, they are comical, yet diabolical, Flip is a classic character, he's funny, ridiculous, awkward, and entertaining. I watched the film after it had been submitted to the FANTASY ANIME SCI-FI HORROR FESTIVAL a category of the big house Los Angeles film festival and laughed from the opening scene on, it's one of those films where you already know what's going to happen but you are glued to your seat anyway, reminded me of scream I was yelling at the screen FLIP noooo, lol. but it does have surprises too, you just have to see it and enjoy the ride, after watching it we all agreed it was a cult classic in the making, the style of filmmaking from the Boxleitner brothers is cool, and the technical aspects of the film are very good too, the lighting is fantastic, it's dark yet the images are crisp and clear, the audio was perfect, most short films are lacking in quality and look low budget, this looks like a professional film, I have watched it a few times since I first reviewed it for the festival, and it has since been accepted as an official selection for screening at the FANTASY ANIME SCI-FI HORROR FESTIVAL in November 2016 and the festival has already chosen it to be a contender in the indie film playoff challenge at the big house Los Angeles entertainment festival too, congratulations to the Boxleitner's you guys rock.

great short film

This is a fantastic short film, very entertaining, the writing is great, the directing is fantastic, all of the technical aspects that we at the big house Los Angeles entertainment festival look for when we are reviewing a feature film or a short film for submission into our festival were prevalent in this short film, great camera-work, the cinematography looked like a big budget film, the characters are portrayed very well, the acting was good, the story is comedic and scary and intense all at the same time, from the opening scene to the finale it is a thrill ride to watch, this would make a great feature film, the security guards curiosity is right out of all of the classic horror films that we love to hate, the old don't go in there, or stop now, as a viewer you feel as if you are there, completely engaged in the situation, the film grabs you and takes you along with him as he journeys downstairs, it's an edge of your seat film that will leave the viewer wanting more, many of us here at big house Los Angeles entertainment festival have seen it already and all agree it is definitely a must see short film...

old fashion horror
Kirpianuscus29 June 2018
The cinematography, the performances, the plot, the use of light and the old motif of labyrinth. all working in admirable manner. but the lead virtue remains the feeling to see an old fashion horror. you know the story. you love the lead character. and his vulnerability. and you hope the final be different. that does it an impecable work. in which each detail is used in wise manner. and the end is it .
