A Vision from the Other side
brunozuppone23 August 2014
Great opportunity to see what is the real meaning of Final Date by the words of the spiritualist Chico Xavier. Full of curious and unknown histories, curiosities about the end the days since the human began contacts with the extra-terrestrials, colorful, magical and emotional! Each spoken words from the interviews and the people who really made contact with Chico Xavier and heard from this the theories about our limited existence since we don't stop killing each other like dislike human beings, providing explanations about thoughts that people has from the other worlds, aliens, and the most waited contact with us, on Earth. A great production with the collaboration of some people from the subject spoken. A film to watch over and over and really understand what we are doing to our-selves by acting with thought like hate, war, being selfishly, but the time tells us there is more to life than our higher positions, race for perfection, better, faster. We must return to the laws of the nature and free ourselves from madness.

Fascinating!

Warning: Spoilers
Incredible. Besides showing much footage of Chico Xavier, the most celebrated and validated medium who ever lived (more on this below), it details his most important prophesy- ***SPOILER ALERT*** that extraterrestrial/ angelic beings met when we landed on the moon in 1969, and unbeknown to most of us, gave the citizens of Earth 50 years from the moon landing to prove ourselves worthy to live. We would prove this by not using nuclear weapons or engaging in a third world war during that time. The deadline is July 24th, 2019, coming up fast. I would have said we're pretty close to home free- but since Donald Trump has threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea if it launches a nuclear attack, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un describes Trump as "mentally deranged" and brags of nuclear missiles that can reach Washington D.C. (his latest ballistic test just a few weeks ago), perhaps not.

If you're not familiar with Xavier, he was an extraordinary man, much like Edgar Cayce, but reportedly validated hundreds of times over, converting the harshest of skeptics. He was a humble man who subjected himself to rigorous testing, even on TV a number of times, to everyone's amazement. There are myriad examples in the film of how Xavier proved himself. Xavier began channeling spirits at four years old (his dead mother), and became famous very young (he channeled short stories from famous authors in grade school- this before he could even read). Over the course of his lifetime he channeled nearly 500 books (most by famous dead authors), despite having only a grade school education. Although these wondrous works earned millions of dollars, Xavier donated all proceeds to charity. Xavier's channeling of a murdered man's testimony on the witness stand in court resulted in the man accused of killing him being exonerated. Over the course of his long life, Xavier also channeled thousands of letters from the dead to grieving loved ones (IN THE DEAD PERSON'S HANDWRITING, validated by handwriting analysis), and refused to take a centavo for his trouble.

Basically, the chief religion of Brazil (Spiritism, with Catholic overtones) is an outgrowth of his mediumship (following in the footsteps of Allen Kardec: The Gospel According to Spiritism, and is melded with the Brazilian healthcare system (patients receive both spiritual and medical treatment)- I've been intrigued with it for some time, after first reading Kardec's books from the mid-1800s. Xavier is revered in Brazil. He was a devout Catholic; according to this documentary Rome has paid close attention to Xavier's messages, some from Jesus. Most have to do with heaven and hell, and how we're meant to live, according to Christ's injunctions (but with some surprises). See the film Astral City: A Spiritual Journey, made from one of his highest-selling works, channeled by a physician after his death, all about the after life.

I won't ruin this by telling you what will happen if we pass or fail the test- both possibilities are incredible. One thing I learned from the film (from a Canadian government official) is that UFO sightings increase exponentially whenever there are nuclear tests or missile launches- indeed, aliens began visiting Earth in modern times only when we developed nuclear weapons, concerned with our progress (could this be true?- I imagine UFO buffs know).

The film is in Portuguese- note that in watching on Amazon English subtitles didn't come on automatically, I had to click on the captions icon and manually turn them on. Although the film was obviously subtitled by someone not fluent in English, often comically so, it is comprehensible. Earnestful, sincere, and chock-full of astounding claims- it gives you PLENTY to think about.

Let it sink in

I just found out about Chico Xavier. Truly, one of the most unique human beings to ever walk this earth.

His story is so intriguing, that when I found this documentary, I immediately rented and watched it.

I am very open to the idea that there are people among us who are able to transcend the veil that most of us encounter, and know things that most cannot begin to comprehend, or believe. They are quite skeptical of people like Chico. But I am not one of those skeptics. I have had experiences that let me know there is so much more going on, than our very limited senses allow us to perceive.

That said, curiosity seekers and non-skeptics will relish this documentary. What Mr. Xavier has envisioned for our future is totally plausible. We passed the "Deadline"...let's not mess that up.
