- Oliver struggles to adjust to the changes that have taken place within Team Arrow; Laurel ignores Oliver and pursues Vertigo - who injects her with the drug; Thea receives a surprise visitor.

Arrow and the Canary are butting heads while fighting crime. Queen doesn't want Laurel out on the street fighting.
Malcolm tells Queen that Ra's will be comings and they need to let Thea know what's going on. Digs warns that telling Thea about her brother's secret identity could result in losing her.
In the flashback Maseo tells Queen they need to leave town quickly as Waller is aware he tried to steal the virus. He advises Queen to contact his family, so Waller will be less likely to torture him for information about Maseo and Tatsu.
In present day we see Werner Zytle on his way into court. One of the guards begins to panic, looking like somebody on Vertigo. He pulls out his gun and opens fire on the media. Laurel ends up knocks him out with a punch to the jaw.
Queen brings Thea down to Team Arrow HQ and reveals that is the Arrow. She is stunned, but is incredibly impressed that her brother did so much to try and save the city. Malcolm arrives and they discuss Ra's. The men believe their only chance is to work together, but Thea isn't excited about trusting Malcolm.
In the flashback Queen uses a payphone to leave his mother a voicemail. Waller's operatives arrive and he's quickly subdued.
Laurel tells the team that a reporter named Anthony Walker slipped Vertigo to the agent. Queen and Laurel argue once again about her helping him, with Queen suggesting Laurel's addiction is the reason she wants the adrenaline rush of being the Canary.
Arrow and the Canary find Walker with a bomb strapped to his chest. Zytle has threatened to hurt his family if he doesn't kill Arrow. He sets off the bomb but Queen and Roy are able to jump out a window.
Queen convinces Thea that Malcolm is a "necessary evil" to defeating Ra's. But she says she won't trust him.
In the flashback we see Waller torturing Queen for info about Maseo and Tatsu's whereabouts. When she threatens to kill Thea, Queen gives her the name of a ferry.
Lance tells Laurel about his conversation with Sin. He asks about Sara but Laurel says nothing. Queen placed a tracker on Laurel, which leads them to the fact she's tracked down Zytle stealing some chemicals. Laurel is hit with some Vertigo, which makes her feels like she's fighting Sara instead of Zytle. Arrow and Arsenal show up to save the day.
Laurel is brought back to Team Arrow HQ. When Queen yells at Thea to leaves, Roy defends her. This leads to a debate where the team lets Queen know that the dynamic changed when they believed he was dead. It is no longer his operation to run. Digs has to explain to Queen that he needs to get on board with the changes.
In the flashback Maseo finds Queen in captivity. It turns out Maseo lied to Queen about his whereabouts just in case Queen ended up getting captured by Waller. He's there to help Queen and asks to speak with Waller.
Looking for an escape, Thea find DJ Chase and the two end up in bed. Afterwards he offers her some wine and she smells something off. Thea realizes he's trying to poison her and Chase admits he's there on behalf of Ra's. The two start to fight and Malcolm ultimately arrives to save the day. Chase killed himself rather than give Malcolm the satisfaction.
Queen tells Laurel he's come to an understanding. Felicity tagged one of the drums Zytle stole, which leads them to his new Vertigo manufacturing facility. Arrow and Canary show up to put a stop to things. Zytle blows the facility and runs off, but they are able to save the scientists Zytle had been forcing to work for him. Once again Laurel is hit with Vertigo. She sees both Sara and her father as opponents, but fights through it and beats Zytle into unconsciousness.
Laurel goes to see Lance at the office and tells him that Sara is dead. He collapses into his chair and she comforts him.
The assassination attempt has changed Thea's mind. Malcolm tells Queen and Thea the three of them need to leave town for a few days for training. Queen tells Team Arrow he's confident the city will be safe in their hands.
The episode ends in our flashback. Queen wakes up in a car with Waller and Maseo. She tells him they're in Starling City.
