Three entities come into play here. Grace is dating a bunch of very strange men. Brianna decides to get a dog so she can receive unconditional love. Frankie is still clinging to Sol. During one of her computer dates, a man from her past shows up. He is a writer who had been all over the world. They are immediately attracted to one another because they have each deprived themselves of some of the simple pleasure of life. Grace is overwhelmed by his incredible accomplishments and experiences. She has never read any of his books and is discussing this with Frankie, who informs her that one of his books involves a time when, to stay alive, he had to eat his partner. This is certainly a stunning set of events that is hard to get her arms around. There are some great pregnant pauses here that are hilarious. Meanwhile, Brianna has a quick thing with the rescue dog's owner. This happens after she is convinced that the new dog hates her. Once again, Sol and Frankie are conflicted, back to doing things they did when married, in this case, watching the National Spelling Championships. Hilarious episode.
