This is another of my favorite episodes of the show, I like this idea and makes sense just like our fascination with animals, why wouldn't alien dinosaurs want to see us in a zoo. The episode sort of satirizes on how markets commercialize and capitalize on our fascination with animals and dinosaurs and exploit them for all their worth all to make a quick profit.
Really like part of the beginning where we see the scouts getting captured one by one, it was just interesting seeing the Tyranos exercise some sharp wit and for once the scouts being outwitted. There is also that little scene where the Scouts are forced into making a movie and one of the scenes are seeing them play against Dinosaurs in a basketball game. Yeah, that's one sports film I'd like to see, though also this could have made another good sports episode for that show.
The plotline really gave us a glimpse into the world Reptilian which is interesting as it's sort of an alternate version of our world. I even like the new villain of the episode who is Genghis Rex's cousin ironically named Attila. He's the real main villain of the episode, really like his personality which is sort of the slick silver-tongued Texan Oil Salesman which you could say is a slight homage to the TV show "Dallas" as it was a bit hit in the 80's and JR was a highly popular character from that show.
This also makes him slightly unique from Genghis where Genghis wants to conquer though tyranny and force, Attila wants to conquer though capitalism and exploitation. Attila is also a little cleverer than Genghis as it looks like he thinks things more thoroughly than Genghis who is always too quick to leap before he looks.
I really like seeing the clashing back and forth between both Genghis and Attila despite not with each other very long in the episode, but it's interesting as it's a clash between two different ideologies of villainy. But it's also funny how despite their different ideologies that even Genghis along with his cohort Ankulo wanted to be in the movie he was making, which shows even both aren't immune to the gleam of showbusiness.
The other interesting thing that makes this episode unique is one of the villains wins, which one well you'll just have to find out.
Rating: 3 and a half stars.
