Sheila is nervous because the crucial meeting of the parole board is about to begin. Giving them her love and promising to return as a visitor, she already says goodbye to her cell mates Sarah, Betty and Jill. Stephanie, Eric and Lauren are very upset at the thought that Sheila could soon be free. They want to do everything in their power to prevent this from becoming a reality. However, James is on the fence because he does not know how to assess Sheila's change in behavior yet. Dr. Carey is optimistic that Sheila will be released today. His colleague Dr. Fontana cautions him because such a quick success in therapy is highly unusual and the parole board might not agree with his assessment. Finally, Dr. Fredrickson, Dr. Heller and social worker Mrs. Lopez gather for what they consider the hardest decision of their career: will they grant Sheila parole?
