Isabella Garcia-Shapiro: [singing] I wanted you to see me, but for so long, you were blind. Now it's time to face tomorrow, and leave all that stuff behind. Of what would our lives have been like, if you'd just given me a sign. 'Cause I like you more than every other thing I like combined. I spent so many summers hoping something would begin. I thought that I was over you, but here I am again... What might have been.
[Isabella drives away in her car, just as Phineas runs towards the restaurant, hoping to see her]
Vivian Garcia-Shapiro: [talking normally] Phineas, honey, how are you?
Phineas Flynn: Hi, Mrs. Garcia-Shapiro. Uh, is Isabella here?
Vivian Garcia-Shapiro: Oh, no, sweetie. She's gone.
Phineas Flynn: Gone, like, driving-car-to-school gone?
Vivian Garcia-Shapiro: Yes, you just missed her. It's too bad you didn't get to see her off. You know, since you were kids, she's had a huge crush on you.
Phineas Flynn: Ah... I wish I had known.
Phineas Flynn: [starts singing] I can't believe that all this time, you never said a word. Although it's possible you did, and I just never heard. I never even noticed, I guess I wasn't that alert. But I must say that, in retrospect, you were being quite overt. And now our endless summer is finally coming to an end. I tried to make the most of every day, but now the years just seem misspent... What might have been.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro: I could have been your girlfriend.
Phineas Flynn: I could have been your fella. We might have been an item...
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro: They would have called us "Phinabella."
Phineas Flynn: I would have held the door for you, I would have shared my umbrella.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro: You could have held my hair back when I was sick with salmonella.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, Phineas Flynn: We could have been together, all you had to say was when. And though I wanted so much more, I guess you'll always be my friend... What might have been... What might I have been.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro: [talks normally while driving out of Danville] What might have been.

If you are a fan of Phineas and Ferb series and want to know more about the kids' future, you can watch this. But believe me, the future is not as cool as you can imagine yourself!
This episode is totally for fan service!!!!
This episode is mainly about how Isabella and Phineas end up to be a couple, which is a lovely confirmation to people who love this couple. I am a fan of this couple too, but I don't think a confirmation is necessary. Isn't the fact that Phineas cares about Isabella (The episode when Phineas and Ferb want to be a superhero), and thinks she is cute (Meap episode), and enjoys her kiss (2nd dimension) are too obvious? It would be much better (and smarter) if the producers let viewers imagine about this kind of problems themselves.I mean this series is about kids and creativity and fun, not about men and woman's love, so they should not use a whole episode just to talk about a side problem.
In this episode, Isabella leave Danville to go to college and all the friends tell Phineas that "Isabella has a crush" on him for long time. Phineas is so surprised, he never knew that, he also has a feeling for her since high school! In the end they have a chance to meet and share their feeling and kiss.
Oh come on! This isn't Phineas and Ferb. It is just like a cheap teenager romantic movie with old plot!!! Where is the fun? Where is the innocent and bright feeling? Where is the creativity? Where is all the smart kids? WHERE IS THE SUMMER????
I can't think that such an awesome person like Phineas can be unaware of Isabella's feeling for such a long time - 10 yearssss???? I always think that their love story would be quite like Candace and Jeremy's. I means everything would come in a natural way, they just gradually become couple without noticing it.That would fit their bright and innocent personality better.
And there are also other couples: Baljeet and Ginger, Ferb and Vanessa??? Too much with the set. It is okay to be the hint, but not every one like those two couples. I personally don't like Ferb and Vanessa to be together, I don't like the age distance and both of them can have many other choices, they are all cool people and the world is not that small.
In conclusion, the producers gave out a lot of hints for every thing, which is great because people can imagine it in the way they like. But in the end, with this episode, they ruined it themselves. And even if not take the future side into consideration, the episode's plot is still too weak. Now that I have already watch this, I will pretend that it is fan-made to preserve my love for the series.
