If you've been following this series, you're as likely to be perturbed by the seeming milking of the plot - are they trying to make this a real-time review of a crime? In which case we could be viewing episodes for the next few years!
However, starting with the last episode, I changed my perception - Imagine this season was stand-aline - the series had started with episode 1, forget about the last 2 seasons. Viewed this way, it's gripping (somewhat) again - how will the defense lawyer use the amnesia to his clients benefit? Is Paul faking?
Lastly, I'm also no fan of the character Gillian Anderson is playing, but perhaps that's evidence of good acting (I hated Denzel Washingtons character in Training Day - couldn't believe at first that he got an Oscar. Then, I realized what a great portrayal of a scumbag it really was)
