• [Michonne confronts Heath about leaving people behind] 

  Michonne : Hey. Do you have a problem with me?

  Heath : I'm just looking out for my people.

  Michonne : And you think that I'm not?

  Heath : Look, I heard what Rick said.

  Michonne : Which part?

  Heath : How they wouldn't all make it. They meaning us and not you. How you should leave us behind if we can't keep up.

  Michonne : Glenn is out there risking his life for you and for everyone else. And I'm still here, so I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

  Heath : Things are gonna get worse and then we'll see.

  Michonne : Yeah, we will. Rick said what he said because sometimes you don't have a choice.

  Heath : That is not how we do it.

  Michonne : [Michonne raises her whispering at Heath]  Because you've never had to do it any other way. You haven't been through it, not really. Not like Rick. Rick was out there, I was out there. We know, you don't. But if you don't learn, you will die, we will.

  Heath : I've been doing runs from the start, okay? I know what it's like.

  Michonne : Have you ever had to kill people because they had already killed your friends and were coming for you next? Have you ever done things that made you feel afraid of yourself afterward? Have you ever been covered in so much blood that you didn't know if it was yours or walkers' or your friends'? Huh? Then you don't know.

  [Michonne quietly walks away] 

• [Glenn comes up with a plan to try and re-direct the herd away from Alexandria] 

  Glenn Rhee : Hey, I was thinking, if we can find a way to distract the herd coming in, then they won't make it back to the community.

  Heath : How?

  Glenn Rhee : Burn one of the buildings. Hopefully more. They'll get drawn to it and stop here.

  Heath : It's gonna take some time.

  Michonne : I'll do it. You stay with them.

  Glenn Rhee : It's my plan. It's on me.

  Michonne : You have a wife, Glenn.

  Glenn Rhee : That's why I'm doing this. You've got to get everybody back. You're the one who can. If I take too long, you just go.

  Michonne : I'm not leaving without you. This is not the way this works.

  Glenn Rhee : I will meet you there. If I get stuck out here, I'll find some way to show you guys I'm okay. We all have a job to do.

  Nicholas : There's a feed store. It's old. A lot of dry stuff inside. It should go up easy. I'll go with you.

  Nicholas : [Glenn puts his head down]  I can - I can draw you a map

  Glenn Rhee : No. You lead the way. Just gotta do one thing first.

  [Glenn takes a minute to call Rick on the walkie-talkie, seeing his pocket watch] 

  Glenn Rhee : [Glenn calls Rick on the walkie-talkie as Rick continues to run for the RV, killing a small group of walkers]  Rick, it's Glenn. We're in a town five degrees east of the green marker. If you get around on Redding in the next 20 minutes, you should be good. I think that's how far we're ahead of the herd. I'm gonna try to set a fire and distract them. If you don't see smoke, they're still coming your way. I got to go. Good luck, dumbass.

• [Rick talks alone with Glenn and Michonne about the plan to get back to Alexandria] 

  Rick Grimes : Glenn, Michonne. If something's in front of you, you kill it. No hiding, no waiting. You keep going.

  Glenn Rhee : I'm going with you, you can't do this on your own.

  Rick Grimes : Glenn, I can do this.

  Michonne : [to Glenn]  You need to help me. We've got to get these people back.

  Rick Grimes : Yeah. Thing is, they aren't all gonna make it.

  Michonne : Rick.

  Rick Grimes : You try to save them, you try, but if they can't keep up, you keep going. You have to. You make sure you get back.

• [first lines] 

  [Rick and the group have to retreat into the woods, away from the herd that heads towards Alexandria] 

  Glenn Rhee : [Glenn stops beside Rick]  Try again.

  Rick Grimes : [Rick talks into the walkie-talkie]  Tobin, it's not stopping. Light it up, you hear me? Tobin!

  Michonne : [a single walker snarls coming at Rick]  Michonne.

  Michonne : [Michonne runs alongside Rick]  Got it.

  Sturgess : Shit! Shit! It was half. Jesus, it was more than half.

  Annie : We gotta stay ahead of them. They walk, we run.

• [Heath's community friends want to be left behind] 

  Heath : [Heath wraps up Scott's leg and is ready to help Annie]  That'll keep you going until we get you back to the infirmary. Annie, I'm gonna figure out a crutch for you.

  Annie : Just leave me.

  Heath : What?

  Annie : I'm slowing you down. We're gonna hit more roamers. It's that simple. Leave me.

  Scott : Leave us.

  Heath : No.

  Scott : It's stupid for you guys to wait on me. We'll all go down. Come on, man, wake up. You don't want to do it now, you do it out there. We get into trouble again, you run. And you don't look back.

  Heath : No, if we go, we go together. Okay, we don't leave people behind.

  Heath : [Heath looks at Michonne]  Not us.

  Michonne : No one is leaving anyone behind.

• [David writes a message on a toilet paper roll to give to Michonne] 

  [David's message reads: Betsy my love. If you are reading this it's because I didn't make it] 

  [Michonne writes a message on her arm for David to read] 

  [Michonne's message reads: You're getting home] 

  [Michonne and the community members hear banging from a back room that holds two walkers, the group kills the walkers when the walkers from outside hear the banging around] 

  Heath : They heard that. They know we're here now. We can't wait them out. The herd, it's gonna be here any minute. What?

  Michonne : [Michonne looks outside and see's the herd coming from across the street]  They're coming.

• Michonne : We're gonna catch up to a lot of things. And we're gonna end them.

• [Michonne and David talk while on the road heading back to Alexandria] 

  Michonne : How long you been married?

  David : Three months. She wasn't my wife from before.

  Michonne : How'd you meet?

  David : It was early on. Aaron found me. I was alone, lost everything. Everyone. Myself, I - I wasn't crazy. I just gave up on being someone, an actual person. Know what I mean?

  Michonne : I do.

  David : We found Betsy on the way back to the community. She still saw me. After I thought I was dead and gone, she was my first friend. Then she was more. She made me more. Even better than how I used to be. But if I could make it back, I'd want to say good-bye. Tell her... finding her in all of this, that was everything.
