Lyn loses yet more viewer respect with her incredible reaction to Charlie running away to see Steph, while Amy's endorsement of the underhand behaviour is also disappointing.Steph does at least come across as sane for once but it'll be a cop-out if she comes up on top in all this, despite their only being a couple of moments that suggest otherwise.
Xanthe continues to annoy, actually making Piper seem sedate and sensible in contrast.There's really no need for Tyler to be shoehorned into the plot and Xanthe's selfishness could cause a lot of trouble.
Sonya as mayor continues to be one of the more bizarre things the show's done but at least they're looking at the practicalities of it, along with having to contend with Paul's self-interested lobbying.
