- [Rick talks to Daryl after coming back from their all-day run]
- Rick Grimes: It is pretty stupid of us to go out there, isn't it?
- Daryl Dixon: Yep. Do it again tomorrow?
- Rick Grimes: Yep.
- [Daryl and Rovia fight in the front seat of the truck]
- Paul Rovia: [Rovia tells Daryl to duck] Duck.
- Daryl Dixon: [as Daryl ducks Rovia kills a Walker behind him] Thanks.
- Daryl Dixon: [Daryl then punches Rovia in the face] That's my gun!
- [last lines]
- Paul Rovia: [Paul Rovia wakes up Rick and Michonne who are in bed together] Rick. Rick, wake up.
- Paul Rovia: [both jump up out of bed as Rick's gun hammer clicks and Michonne's sword blazes a zing] We should talk.
- [Denise adds a soda pop brand on the list of items for Daryl to search when he's out on his run]
- Daryl Dixon: You like it, right?
- Dr. Denise Cloyd: No, I don't drink pop.
- Daryl Dixon: What the hell's 'pop'?
- Dr. Denise Cloyd: Oh, I'm originally from Ohio.
- [Daryl remains quiet]
- Daryl Dixon: [Uncensored version]
- [takes up several soda cans]
- Daryl Dixon: This was a special request from the doctor. All right.
- Rick Grimes: Whatever she wants. She saved Carl's life. We didn't know her and she turned out to be all right. But there's still people out here. And they're still people. And we should bring them in.
- Daryl Dixon: What, like this guy?
- Rick Grimes: No, fuck this guy.
- [Rick and Daryl finally catch Paul Rovia with their truck]
- Paul Rovia: [Rovia lays on the ground] Do you even have any ammo?
- Paul Rovia: [Rick and Daryl both shoot a coming Walker] Okay. You gonna shoot me over a truck?
- [Rick hands Michonne the roll of mints at the end of the day]
- Rick Grimes: Oh... got you something.
- Michonne: [Rick holds up a roll of mints as the two laugh] Is this instead of the toothpaste?
- Rick Grimes: Mm-hmm. Well, I do have a crate of toothpaste for you. It's currently at the bottom of a lake.
- Michonne: Oh, so you had a day.
- Rick Grimes: [Rick laughs] Yeah... all on account of your dental hygiene. Have your mints.
- [Rick and Michonne hold hands]
- [first lines]
- Michonne: [Michonne enters into Rick's bedroom] Do you have any toothpaste left?
- Rick Grimes: [Rick gives Michonne the look that she's the borrower] No, because someone's been borrowing it every day for two weeks.
- [Michonne wishes Rick good luck on his run with one reminder]
- Michonne: You be good out there.
- Rick Grimes: Yeah, we'll see. And thank you.
- Michonne: Oh. Spearmint and baking soda. That's my favorite.
- [Carl tells Michonne why he wouldn't kill Deanna out in the woods]
- Carl Grimes: I couldn't kill her.
- Michonne: Why not?
- Carl Grimes: Because...
- Michonne: You could've killed her.
- Carl Grimes: No, I couldn't. I wouldn't.
- Michonne: Were you playing some sort of game out there? Do you think that...
- Carl Grimes: No!
- Michonne: Then why?
- Carl Grimes: Because it should be someone who loved her. Someone who's family. And I - I'd do it for you. I would.
- Michonne: [Michonne reaches to hug Carl] Come here.
- Michonne: [Michonne whispers in Carl's shoulder] Me, too.
- [Eugene gives Daryl and Rick a map of the supply areas for their run]
- Dr. Eugene Porter: I mapped out some of the agricultural supply places in the area. Even if they've been cleaned out, my bet is the sorghum would be untouched. Now, that there is a criminally underrated grain that could change the game of our food situation from scary to hunky-dunky.
- Dr. Eugene Porter: [Daryl looks at Eugene] I'm talking standability, drought tolerance, grain-to-stover ratio that is the envy of all corns.
- Dr. Eugene Porter: [Daryl stares back at Eugene] Think about it.
- [Spencer talks to Michonne about his mother after they both bury Deanna's body together]
- Spencer Monroe: [about Deanna] She left me a note. She said, I still knew my way.
- Spencer Monroe: [Spencer chuckles] I never knew my way...
- Michonne: You loved your family?
- Spencer Monroe: Yeah.
- Michonne: Then you know your way. It's home.
- Spencer Monroe: They're gone.
- Michonne: I've been out here chasing you all over the woods. You've still got family, and you've still got home.
- [Rick plays a music cd that Daryl pleads for him not to play, of the song Action Packed by Ronnie Dee]
- Rick Grimes: [Rick sings one of the quotes to Daryl] 'Draws 'em away from home.'
- [Paul Rovia makes light threats to Rick and Daryl]
- Rick Grimes: You said you didn't have a camp. You on your own?
- Paul Rovia: Yeah. But, still, it's best not to try anything.
- Daryl Dixon: Best not to make threats you can't keep, either.
- Paul Rovia: [Rovia smiles] Exactly.
- [Rick asks Michonne if she wants to talk about her day, not knowing about the Walker Deanna]
- Rick Grimes: You wanna tell me about your day?
- Michonne: No. Same thing.
- Rick Grimes: What, you found a guy?
- Michonne: [Michonne quietly responds] Not a guy.
- [Rick and Daryl start their run in the car]
- Rick Grimes: Today's the day.
- Daryl Dixon: Uh-huh.
- Rick Grimes: We're gonna find food, maybe some people. Law of averages has gotta catch up.
- [Maggie tries to talk to Enid who went back to being alone]
- Maggie Greene: I never see you. Everybody's been working for weeks to get this place back together and you just disappear. Do you sit in your room all day?
- Enid: No.
- Maggie Greene: Then where'd you go?
- Enid: Nowhere.
- Maggie Greene: You helped Glenn get home. You helped me when I was up in that guard post.
- Enid: Yeah.
- Maggie Greene: So maybe there are better places for you to go than just nowhere. I'm around. Come talk to me.
- [Rick and Daryl officially meet Paul Rovia for the first time, also known as Jesus]
- Paul Rovia: If this is the next world, I hope it's good to you guys.
- Rick Grimes: I'm Rick. This is Daryl. What's your name?
- Paul Rovia: [Rovia stops to turn around and lowers down his mask] Paul Rovia. But my friends used to call me Jesus. Your pick.
- [Carl and Enid walk in the woods outside the Alexandria walls]
- Enid: Why are we coming out here?
- Carl Grimes: 'Cause we're kids. It's what they do.
- Enid: We're not kids.
- [Carl cradles Judith as both of them look out to the stars]
- Carl Grimes: [to Judith] See that bright one? Yeah, that's the North Star. It's at the end of the Little Dipper. Yeah. If you get lost at night, you just find that star.
