A Brave, Cynical Look on Society and The Comedy Industry
shaggysaysthenword24 February 2020
Never has there been a more brilliant depiction of the trials and tribulations of comedy club management. While watching this this film, no, experiencing this epic one can almost experience for oneself the harsh realities of a comedy career, often not depicted in classics. We are presented with an interesting yet cynical look at the side of comedy you don't see in "Cheers", "All in the Family", or even "Friends". If you're up for some clever, rowdy, raunchy, wit, then this new classic Stand up Neurotica is up for you.

Stand Up Neurotica

Many have talked about shows like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Seinfeld. But to me Stand Up Neurotica tops them all. Many different wonderful quotes like "Fuck me with a Canolli" and "Does she have a penis" were some of the greatest comic lines that not even Richard Pryor or George Carlin could not compete with. Though the actors and actresses were all amazing the best one was in fact the nurse who really stole the show with his presence if only for one scene, I feel you could make a spin off with just him to rival Mork and Mindy and Better Call Saul. Fantastic Viewing experience and remember to achieve euphoria through you bowl movements.

Wow. Just Wow.

Warning: Spoilers
Four single friends -- comic Jerry Seinfeld, bungling George Costanza, frustrated working gal Elaine Benes and eccentric neighbor Cosmo Kramer -- deal with the absurdities of everyday life in New York City.
