- Maurice doesn't get money to pay for the watch. Merle seeks a co-worker and Henry seeks a job. Lea becomes a maid. Carla thinks Torben fights too hard to get his son. Top-photographer Lasse now sells periodicals and newspapers.
- Maurice brought the watch to the pawn. Nathalie reacts mad and Jana disappointed. Sebastian wants Maurice to feel the consequences. Fabian thinks they should not make a big drama out of this to protect Nathalie. Jana visits Maurice and makes him clear that he has until tomorrow night to bring the watch back or else Sebastian will report him to the police. Jana and Fabian try to convince Nathalie not to turn her back towards Maurice completely. No one lends Maurice money because he has high debts and is a gambling addict. He tells Carla he can't pay for the watch so he can't give it Nathalie back. Henri is angry, packs his bags and leaves while Theo is mocking him. In front of the station he stumbles over Merle's luggage. He doesn't give her the apology she asks for because he thinks she should not lay her luggage in the way. Inge arrives to fetch Merle. Ben is almost ready with his electrician job in Merle's firm. Merle realizes she is alone in the firm without Erika and the loss of three temporal jobbers. She needs co-workers because her order-book is full, and asks Inge. But Inge has to overwork in Theo's grill wagon. Henri returns to the wagon. Inge gives him the address of Merle's garden store to find a job there. Lea wants to leave the estate house after a short nap. She feels herself not very well. Eliane takes her with her to the community house and when she hears that Henri is gone she offers Lea a place to sleep here. They talk about their family and their way of life. Gunter misses Lea at home. He and Hannes think they should accept her way of life. Eliane tells Gunter Lea is with her. Gunter finds Lea on the street and offers her his guest room but Lea declines his offer. Gunter thinks she is running away and calls her a coward who can't even sustain one day as a chambermaid. He is astonished to find her that day working as maid in his hotel. Torben wants to fight for his right to care for his son Max but Carla thinks he should consider the feelings of Anne and Max. Anne's husband Mathias is prepared to go with her to Costa Rica when she gets her job as ambassador. Udo understands that Torben will try to avoid Anne going to this country because Max is Torben's son. Torben tells Inge, while Carla enters the room, that he wants to raise his son here when Anne leaves. Carla tries to convince him that he is going the wrong way. Mayor Thomas and councilor Udo worry about the image campaign of the city now two employees of the communication department stay at home because they are ill. Lasse stands up early to start his work. He sells periodicals and newspapers although he is an awarded photographer. Thomas wants to see one of each newspaper and finally buys two. He makes Lasse compliments for his photographic work.
