I love this show, I love the characters (will miss Cami), esp. Klaus and Elijah and Rebekah (come back!!), but this episode really let me down - I was at the edge of my seat and couldn't believe that Marcel was finally gone (thanks Elijah!!), however then he was back - damn, damn, I hated Marcel from the first episode, I was so happy-good riddance, but no-very disappointed! I realize that there must be an enemy, but why Marcel (again)??? Kill this xxx finally off and come up with any other enemy. And why did nobody tell him that they were only protecting his Rebekah? Marcel, go kill yourself, whiny, ungrateful brat. I hope Klaus+Elijah+Vincent will kick your xxx, and soon.

This was the final straw to a pathetically wrote series for me! The originals could only be killed by the oak from where they were from to regular vampires could take some kind of potion from a witch and be the most powerful, unstoppable vampire who could kill the originals without the oak! The sorry writers have done nothing but contradict themselves as this show and vampire diaries went!! Let's not leave out, if the witches were all so powerful as they claim here, then they could have taken the vampire threat away centuries ago!

Then Marcel taking the "potion" that another witch took from the other vampire that tried to kill the originals! He has his heart ripped out but he is still alive! Any other vampire that loses a heart is gone but Marcel comes back without one! Clearly showing how pathetic the writing and storytelling truly is!

I hope they can get the original cast of originals together to remake this the right way!

The guys get dressed up in their suits. Hayley adjusts Elijah's tie in the mirror. The procession goes on with music. Hayley tells the staff an Irish wake must not run out of whiskey - that's like the first rule. Josh, Kol, Vince and Marcel are at Davina's funeral in the cemetery. Kol looks amazing. Kol goes to find Freya who is busy with a skull. He says he met his funeral quota for the day when she said she thought no one would be here. He did not attend Cami's wake. Elijah comes later when Freya is trying to see what the future beholds. He takes her hand and they see Marcel destroying their family. Josh, Vince, Kol and Kinney the policeman work together to destroy the Ancestors. They go to that world and see Davina. She asks Kol to tell Josh just having one great friend is more than most people can say. She also asks for him to tell Marcel how much she appreciated him. Kol wakes up in the real world. Klaus takes Marcel to the bridge where they scattered his father's ashes. Klaus tries to persuade Marcel not to look for revenge. Elijah comes and rips Marcel's heart out. Marcel's body flips into the depths of the waters. Vince tells Josh that Marcel took the serum without hesitation before. With Marcel having died, the Mikaelsons don't know that he is actually going to come back with Lucien's powers.
