Georges St-Pierre was not paid to be in this movie with money. In exchange for his performance, he wanted Steven Seagal.to teach him the same secret front kick that Seagal to Anderson Silva.
It was said by all the cast and crew that Steven Seagal was impossible to work with. During lunch breaks, he would steal other people's food, call people names, played with guns like they were toys, and would doze off during filming. A few of the crewmen eventually hate enough. They develop a plan to kill Steven Seagal as there was no other alternative to resolving the issue. They mixed their own feces on the plated lunch that was to be handed to Steven Seagal. When he ate it, he started violently throwing up and thrashing around. He stoped moving, and it was at this point the entire cast and crew celebrated and danced around his body. However, their joy was short lived when he started crying, moaning, and begging for help. Many of the crew members started crying and jumping up and down similar to a child at Walmart who was throwing a fit over a toy. George St. Pierre got so mad that he punched a car window. He was taken to the hospital where he had surgery alongside Steven Seagal.
Steven Seagal and George St. Pierre got into multiple fights off camera due to Seagal calling George an elf.
In order to make his performance look better, Seagal told the cast to put less effort in their performances. He even demanded the film editor over the phone to do "whatever it takes" to make his performance look better and make his co-stars look worse. Some CGI was added alongside old footage from previous movies, so Seagal didn't appear to be seated as much as he was. Seagal was delighted with the final cut stating "i was the best part of the movie by a mile".
