1968. CIA interrogators Gordon Krane and Michael Smits circle around Boris Lebedev, a Soviet scientist in a dimly lit basement. While Smits performs his theatrical method of prying knowledge from a subject, Krane is reflecting on the concept of lost innocence - and on the dueling sides of his personality - torn between good and evil. Krane tells us, 'Interrogation is the blend of sarcasm and psychological force' as the two go about their assignment, which suddenly escalates into brutal climax.
