- You can set you or someone else on fire
- At the Goat Fighting Ring in Goatville, there is blood all over the ring.
- All violence against you (the Goat) and Humans is comical and isn't meant to be serious. You can get hit by things, get set on fire, be mangled by a harvester, shot up in the air by explosions, and much more, but all that happens is that you (or the humans) fall into a Ragdoll effect before you get up. No blood or gore comes out.
- You can die if you take too much damage from zombies or haven't eaten enough in the GoatZ expansion, although two different mutators can prevent this from happening unless you choose to end it yourself.
- One mutator (Evil Goat) turns the goat into a demon who can sacrifice humans, for instance.
Profanity

- The score quests ask the player to "Get a big-ass Score!". If Explicit content is turned off, "Ass" is removed from the text.
- If you head into the Anti-Gravity building in the PC version, a message saying "Fuck the Police!" Will show. If the explicit content is turned off or you are playing the other versions, the message instead reads "Breaking and Entering!".
- In the mobile version, there is a map called "Buck to School". If the Goat hits both electric boxes that keep the mascot trapped inside, text reading "Buck Off!" displays. Buck is the name of the mascot, and it is an obvious pun on it's profane meaning.
- There is a coffee place in "Waste Of Space" called "My! That's A Damn Fine Coffee!"
- The (mock) chat function in Goat MMO Simulator has all sorts of various profane terms, including racial and homophobic slurs as seen in the script files. They're all replaced with more humorous alternatives if the explicit content is turned off (eg, "Cunt" and "Pussy" are replaced with "Mind-control Device", "Bastard" is replaced with "Jon Snow" and any of the racial slurs (eg, "Nigger", "Dyke") are replaced with "I am a red-neck".
- One of the human lines for "Angry" NPCs like the Turdles in Goat City Bay and the Bodyguards in the GoatZ expansion is "Damn, hoodland Goats..."
- Damn, Hell and Shit are used sometimes.

- In the Payday DLC, one of the playable characters is a flamingo who has the ability to mind control any human npc in the game. This puts the animal on the persons head, allowing you to control it, with human violence animations such as punching.
