The CSI tells the cop in the bar crime scene that they just discovered some blood that hadn't been seen. She says it was because it blended in with the color of the floor. The investigator for the DA tells the investigating cop that he should check all the surrounding hospitals. That cop immediately says, "already on it". Since he was just given the information himself, and didn't tell the crime scene investigator to check the hospitals. How could the hospital check be in the works as they speak? However, that phrase also means, "I will get on it immediately." It's an appropriate response to someone who wants the information "yesterday."
Jack's use of syrup of ipecac would be considered to be poisoning the bully. In today's 'zero tolerance' policies, this would almost certainly result in severe punishment, even considering it was in response to the bully's blatant assault and battery.
Production of syrup of ipecac stopped in 2010 and its use is no longer recommended. It is unlikely that Jack would have access to it.
After Jamie and Eddie are given their case, Jamie asks Eddie, "What was that about, when did you get so buddy-buddy with him?" Eddie responds, "Oh, he was an instructor on that undercover course I took. I've been lobbying him to give us an assignment ever since." While she's speaking, the camera alternates between her left side and right side. When it's on her right side, she's still speaking, but her mouth isn't moving.
