. . . is more technical than the first, which focused primarily on host Gig Young shooting the breeze with ALLEY star John Wayne. Though Wayne is back for Part Two, he and Gig try to make a "Cinemascope" movie camera (a.k.a., "The Monster of Movieland") the center of attention. Wayne sometimes fancied himself a movie director (think ALAMO), but he seems a little ill at ease stepping into a Cinematographer's shoes, even for a brief moment here. When asked some anatomical question about "The Monster," Wayne stumbles around a little and quickly diverts the discussion to his apparent habit of taking "home movies" with a much smaller hand-held camera (only the size of 10 or 12 cell phones) on his movie sets. This gives the Warner Presents folks an opportunity to display some background footage of their BLOOD ALLEY "China" set on the television screen. As with most Tinseltown offerings from this era, it all turns out to be Fake, built in the Richard Bay area near San Francisco.
