A Conversation with Alejandro Jodorowsky (2007)
*** (out of 4)
This six minute interview with director Alejandro Jodorowsky can be found on the release of EL TOPO, his 1970 cult classic that many consider to be a masterpiece. As the director states, many including John Lennon saw this film as a masterpiece but there were many others who found it to be a horrible movie including The New York Times. At just six minutes there's really nothing here that is ground-breaking but it's at least entertaining enough for fans of the director. It's edited at a very fast pace, which I'm going to guess was an attempt to show something "hip" and it really doesn't work but the most important thing are the words and thoughts of Jodorowsky.
