Kelly Clarkson took on Heart’s timeless classic “Crazy on You” on the latest episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she was joined by Ann and Nancy Wilson themselves. Watch the performance below.
Before launching into the cover, Ann Wilson told Clarkson that “Crazy on You” was the “first song I ever recorded as a singer in a studio,” adding that her vocals came from “feeling” because she didn’t have “a bunch of technique yet.”

“I definitely felt how to say certain words, how to jump in early sometimes,” Wilson said. “How to blue note things. Just feel that kind of stuff.”
Then, Clarkson belted out the song with Nancy Wilson vigorously strumming away on acoustic guitar and Ann nodding her approval. “Remember that time I got cheered on by Ann Wilson,” Clarkson said excitedly.

Every now and then, Jimmy Fallon gets a little bit lonely, and every now and then, he gets a little bit tired of listening to the sound of his tears — so this year’s solar eclipse was actually a great way for him to have a communal, shared experience. While the streets of New York were filling with people hoping to catch a glimpse of the rare cosmic event, Fallon was on the NBC rooftop performing Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” with The Tonight Show musical guests Heart.

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson will be making a comeback to perform together after five years.
Though recent years haven’t seen the sisters onstage together, both have continued to perpetuate the 70s rock band songs. Nancy toured in 2022 under a different name, Nancy Wilson’s Heart, in 2022, mainly singing Heart songs, while Ann had her own band called Tripsitter.

A reunited Heart performed their first show in over four years on Wednesday night (December 27th) at the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland, California.
The legendary rock group fronted by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson had previously announced a New Year’s Eve reunion concert in their hometown of Seattle, Washington. It appears Heart scheduled a few warm-up gigs, as the Highland show will be followed by a performance on Thursday (December 28th) at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California.
Wednesday’s concert was Heart’s first since October 2019 and saw the band running through a career-spanning set including hits such as “Magic Man,” “Crazy on You,” and “Barracuda.” The Wilson sisters would close out the evening with a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven,” reprising their famous performance of the song at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012 — a rendition that brought Robert Plant, who was in attendance,...

Attendees at Ann Wilson’s show in Santa Rosa, California Tuesday night (October 10th) got a special surprise when she brought out her sister and Heart bandmate Nancy Wilson onstage, marking the first time the two have performed together since 2019.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have the answer to a question with us tonight,” Ann said from the stage. “A very, very good friend — more than a friend…let’s bring her out. Come on.”
Naturally, the two then performed Heart’s 1977 classic “Barracuda.” Per Setlist.fm, it was the closing number for the evening, during which Ann also played handful of other Heart songs along with covers of John Lennon, The Who, Queen, and Led Zeppelin. See a clip of the Wilsons doing “Barracuda” together below.

Around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday night, a shadowy group of figures walked onto the Farm Aid stage at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. This was supposed to be the moment where Wille Nelson wrapped up the night, but there was no sign of the Red Headed Stranger or his band. Instead, another act was plugging in instruments on the darkened stage. There was no announcement of any kind, and the large screens on both sides of the stage went completely blank for the first time all day.

Given his grounding in visceral horror and thrillers laced with a mischievous vein of dark humor, Ben Wheatley seemed an intriguing choice to take the directing reins on Meg 2: The Trench, the sequel to the 2018 B-movie about a megalodon terrorizing a bunch of scientists and Jason Statham before homing in on a buffet of beachgoers.
The good news is that Statham’s back, bringing his rugged charm and tough-guy self-irony to sparkling dialogue like “I’ve got this,” “Shit!” and “See ya later, chum,” that last one delivered as he dispatches a prehistoric shark. The disappointing news is that the big, dumb fun promised by a terrific trailer — ingeniously cut to the 1977 Heart banger, “Barracuda” — only materializes intermittently in a movie that too often struggles to find the balance between suspense and monster-size silliness.
To be fair to Wheatley, the Brit director is not helped much by Jon Hoeber,...

Barracuda Queens, through just six episodes, gave us a peek into the elites of the Scandinavian country of Sweden, and the watch was purely amusing. A bunch of rich girls take it upon themselves to rob the other rich. It began as a necessity, but soon became an addiction. One of the girls who posed as the robbers was Amina Khalil. The girl initially was not a part of the group, as she was introduced as a new girl in town from an affluent family.
Amina had no clue what the actual Barracuda Queens were up to or what they were even capable of. But once she talked to them, she got to know them better. Just like any other rich family in her neighborhood, Amina had also lived across the world with her family, and her worldly knowledge is sort of her attractive feature. Louise, aka Lollo Millkvist, became friendly quite quickly,...

Warner Bros. debuted a first look at the upcoming shark attack sequel Meg 2: The Trench during CinemaCon today, and attendees seem to be pretty impressed with the footage.
Journalist Jeff Sneider tweets, “WB should just rename The Meg 2 to The Hit, because that’s what it’s gonna be. She’s hungry and back for seconds! Creatures have escaped an untouched, underwater ecosystem and are wreaking havoc in our world. Trailer is set to Barracuda.”
Eric Goldman adds, “… trailer for The Meg 2… begins with a Meg killing a dinosaur. They’re hunting in packs this time! Statham is fighting them! I’m so in!”
Rob Keyes writes, “Meg 2: The Trench trailer has the same over-the-top laughs and insanity as the first. The Megs are hunting in packs, there’s a dinosaur flashback, Jason Statham holds one back with his foot, there’s even a giant octopus or Kraken thing.

Don’t expect the usual narrative arc for this surprising drama about an Olympics-aspiring swimmer navigating the choppy waters of adolescence
The talented athlete, the tough-love coach, the upcoming championship or tryout that will test the protagonist’s resolve. You know this story; you’ve seen it before. Providing any innovation in the highly templated sports movie is no easy task, but as writer-director Tyson Wade Johnston makes clear in his emotionally gripping swimming-themed coming-of-age film co-executive-produced by Ian Thorpe, the genre is evergreen so long as storytellers prioritise good drama over any achievement in the pool or on the field.

Photo: ‘The Dry’/Roadshow Films What makes a great mystery? Is it the stomach-churning shock of a perfectly executed reveal? Is it the various loose-ends and maddening misfires assembled along the way to dustily cloud the truth? Or maybe it's just as simple as convincing the audience to care in the first place. What makes Robert Connolly’s ‘The Dry’ (2021) rise above many similar films and cement itself as a truly great mystery is its impressive ability to accomplish all of the elements above while simultaneously spinning them in an invigoratingly fresh direction. “The Masked Singer” semifinal on May 19 includes just one woman — the Black Swan — among the four remaining celebrity contestants. We think this powerhouse performer is the best singer still in the hunt to win the season 5 Golden Mask. She faces off against three fellows who are disguised as the Chameleon, Piglet and Yeti.
The Black Swan secured her place in the semis by winning over the four judges with her cover of the Ed Sheeran hit “Thinking Out Loud” on the May 12 episode. That was just the latest in a line of triumphs dating back to her first appearance on the show in Week 2 when she wowed the crowd with her cover of “Barracuda” by Heart.
To figure out the name of the famous filly hiding inside the Black Swan, we’ve taken another look at those two performances as well as her other four turns at the mike: “In...

Ever since Black Swan first spread her wings at the start of the Group B performances of “The Masked Singer” Season 5, she’s been a fan-favorite to win the Golden Mask. “I am so excited about this because it’s nice to have a badass on this season,” remarked panelist Robin Thicke after her ear-pleasing rendition of “Barracuda.” Cut to today, where Black Swan has just made it into the coveted Top 4. If the black-feathered, red-beaked bird ends up winning the show, she’d be the third female “Masked Singer” winner in a row after Night Angel (Kandi Burruss) and Sun (LeAnn Rimes). Talk about girl power!

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 5 Episode 9 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired April 28 on Fox.
The unmaskings took a week off, as Wednesday’s episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” was instead a special one-hour sing-a-long edition that doubled as “The Maskys,” an award celebrating some of the season’s most memorable performances.
Well, they actually spelled it “The Masky’s,” which is extremely questionable from a grammar standpoint.
But however to spell it, “The Maskys” also included a joint singalong to “Never Gonna Give You Up,” by Rick Astley, featuring previously unmasked celebrities Bobby Brown (Crab), Tamera Mowry (Seashell), Mark McGrath (Orca), Nick Cannon (Bulldog), Logan Paul (Grandpa Monster), Danny Trejo (as Raccoon), Caitlyn Jenner (as Phoenix) and Kermit the Frog (as Snail).
Panelists, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong also got a week off from the guessing game.

The Black Swan is the last woman standing on season 5 of “The Masked Singer.” She landed her spot in the Super 6 with her powerful performance of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon on the April 21 episode. That quarter-final ended with the elimination of the other remaining female contestant, the Seashell, who turned out to be Tamera Mowry.
The Black Swan and the five remaining fellows are all showcased on the special episode of “The Masked Singer” airing April 28: “The Sing-a-Long: The Maskie Awards.” It includes clips of her previous performances that won over the four judges: “Barracuda” by Heart on March 17; “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes on March 31; and “How Will I Know” by Whitney Houston on April 7.

The Spicy Six were revealed during Episode 7 of “The Masked Singer” last week and the Black Swan is the last woman standing. This marks the first time in the history of the series that just one female has remained at this point in the competition. The feathered diva will face off against Chameleon, Piglet, Robopine, Russian Dolls and Yeti for the Golden Mask trophy.

No surprise that the Black Swan numbers among the Super 8 competing on “The Masked Singer” on April 21. She has impressed us with her vocal talents since her first appearance on St. Patrick’s Day when she wowed with her rendition of “Barracuda” by Heart. She returned two weeks later and nailed her cover of “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes. On April 7, the Black Swan secured a place in the season 5 quarterfinal with a toe-tapping version of “How Will I Know” by Whitney Houston.
The judges have figured out that the Black Swan is a pop princess who started her career as a child. But they are wrong with their guesses that this is Demi Lovato or Ashley Simpson. Keep reading if you want to know as we have all “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the name of the Black Swan.

Fans of the “The Masked Singer” contestants in Group B got a real treat on April 7 as these celebrities competed for the second episode in a row. For the animated musical “Trolls World Tour,” DreamWorks producer Gina Shay racked up her share of frequent flyer miles over four years — traveling to New York City for reggaeton superstar J Balvin, South Korea for K-Pop girl group Red Velvet and Stockholm for star and music curator Justin Timberlake. “It felt like I was going around the world collecting people’s voices,” she says.
Singing voices, that is. Nearly 40 tunes are woven into the fabric of the film, which tells the tale of hard rock royals trying to overtake competing genres including pop, country, funk, classical and techno. “Different tribes of trolls celebrating different genres of music,” says Universal’s head of film music Mike Knobloch.
Adds Shay: “We wanted people to come together and telling that story through musical genres seemed like a clever way of doing it without feeling preachy.”
That’s no small feat when it comes to using popular songs.

Eliza Dushku has spoken out about her sexual harassment settlement with CBS, saying the company and “Bull” star Michael Weatherly breached the terms of their agreement by speaking to reporters.
In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Wednesday, Dushku said she suffered “daily undeniably demeaning conduct” by Weatherly while acting alongside him, including repeated inappropriate sexual comments and professional retaliation after she spoke out.
Last year, Dushku was tapped to play a major role in three episodes of “Bull,” with the option to become a full-time cast member the following season. But Dushku said she was written off the show after she confronted Weatherly, the series’ star, over his on-set behavior.

Frank Castle has no shortage of enemies.
Between his time serving in the U.S. Marines and cleaning up the streets of New York City, Jon Bernthal’s one-man army has butchered some of the most dangerous men and women on the planet and lived to tell the tale. But if the actor was handed control of The Punisher season 2, he’d like to see Frank Castle go up against Barracuda and/or Kingpin in a future installment.
Jigsaw is ostensibly a lock for the show’s second outing, given how things ended for Billy Russo, but while appearing on the 2018 Walker Stalker Cruise alongside Robert Kirkman and some of Twd‘s biggest names, Jon Bernthal fielded all sorts of questions from fans – including one about The Punisher‘s potential villains.
