What a character. So glad to see him back along with the ending. Him and Ian are fantastic together. Along with Frank and Monica. Very excited for these last 2 episodes. Hoping to see Lip turn things around, his storyline has been very intriguing.

Every time I think that Shameless has "Jumped The Shark" for the last and final time, they have a great episode like this one.

After pointless episodes of too much Debby, more whining and complaining Fiona and wasting William H Macy's incredible talent, they finally got back to story lines that I like. Obviously the return of Mickey and rekindled love with Ian is a big selling point. That story line is the main reason why I loved this whole series. But finally finding a "real" story line for Lip, who was aimlessly wandering around the past couple of seasons with no real reason to even be on the series. Took them awhile, but what else could they do with Carl? He had a great run of a few episodes this season, but there was nothing else for him really this year. It is refreshing that when they run out of things for a character to do, they send them away until they can come up with something new. I wish they would have figured that out with Debby & Fiona 3 years ago.

It seems like they are actually trying again instead of just trying to get every character into every episode.

The Lip scenes are really tough to watch. Lip is literally Frank and I am not sure he realized it yet. Can we all appreciate how for the first time this season Debbie was pretty awesome? I was so glad when Fiona took the money. Frank and Monica are back to their same ways. Ian seeing a Mickey again made him realize who he really wanted to be with. So much in one episode. Mickey's return, Helene's brief return, and V & Fiona are friends again! Lips parts were so brief and not much dialog, but his acting was pretty intense.
