Plot; On their way to rescue allies they were previously forced to leave behind, the Voltron team receive a distress call and stop to help a pair who may have ulterior motives.
This episode is, like its plot, a bit of a sidestep from the story at large, but it still manages to introduce some key elements with future implications; particularly the introduction of Haggar the witch and the creation of what will effectively be the series' first Robeast (though there's no "Ro" to it). It also wraps up Pidge's identity subterfuge, but it's handled with such a shrug that it makes you wonder why it was ever included at all. Still entertains, with the humor hitting at a much more consistent clip here.
