I saw Borivoj Dovniković's "Strannaya ptitsa" in its Serbo-Croat title "Čudna ptica". It means strange bird. It's about a bird that has an unusual experience with an egg. Not the best of Dovniković's cartoons, but still enjoyable. I've liked pretty much all the Yugoslavian cartoons that I've seen.
Dovniković is not the most well known director; Wikipedia doesn't even have an English-language article about him. The only articles about him are in Croat, Russian and Serbo-Croat (the director himself is a Croat). You'd think that since he did his work in the former Yugoslavia, the Bosnian, Macedonian, Serbian and Slovenian versions would at least have articles about him. No matter, this is still a good cartoon.
