Certification

Sex & Nudity

  • There is no nudity at all. No kissing either.

Violence & Gore

  • No one dies or gets injured in the movie. Aside from a small scuffle in a few scenes there is no intense or violent scenes.
  • Some mild action peril, but this is nothing compared to the first movie, which had some realistic scenes of a kid being threatened by some dangerous gangsters. Again PG is now the family rating (which wasn't the case in 1993), so different times.

Profanity

  • Not much. This movie is far more family-friendly than the first one, which had a lot of adult content (not in the explicit way, mind you, just that it had a lot of content that would be PG-13 today). Keep in mind, the first was made in a time when PG movies sometimes had very coarse language, even though the PG-13 rating had already been created, before the PG rating became a family rating for good, by 1995.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some mildly scarier scenes, but this is a much more pleasant family-friendly movie compared to the first one.
