This program shows real-life homicide cases around the holiday season in the US. We know the stats that homicide is statistically happens very long and far between but this show drives home the fact that it can feel more prevalent than expected.

In most of the featured cases someone close to the family commits grumous evil acts or murder. After watching this show one cannot but become cynical about human nature and the evil that lurks in some psychopathic individuals. It is scary how often this happens.

Overall good show apart form a lot repetition in the scenes (they can tell the story in a much shorter time but choose to repeat the same dialogue) and lack of full exposure (the theme of the show is very dark yet they do not show a lot or crime scene photos as if that would harm someone. Any one watching is an adult that can take it so stop being so prudent, or move to HBO.)
