Fans of both directors are now clamoring for more information on this exciting collaboration. Many fans have begun to speculate on what game this collaboration could relate to, with the consensus generally being that it is most likely for On the Beach.

This would not be the first time the two industry legends have collaborated. In the first Death Stranding game, players can communicate with the hologram of an Npc bearing Lake’s likeness.

A new financial report released today by Remedy Entertainment revealed interesting details about Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake.
Rockstar Games, publisher of the original Max Payne games and owner of the IP, is fully funding the entire remake project. The report mentions:
“Max Payne 1&2 remake is going to be a major new game with great potential, enabled by a similar development budget as Alan Wake 2.”
Alan Wake 2 is said to be made on a budget of around $75 million, and that game looks visually stunning. Since Remedy will most likely use its own Northlight game engine to develop the Max Payne remakes, this budget should be more than enough to deliver the same level of quality as its most recent release.
The report also says that the remake project “made considerable progress throughout the year” and will enter the next stage of development in the coming months. While the company suffered a revenue...

Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy Entertainment might not have succeeded in releasing a blockbuster game, but they released a very well-made title. This game looks excellent and has been loved by every gamer who has tried their hands at it. The best part is that they improved significantly over the prequel in terms of gameplay. It wears its Resident Evil influence on its sleeves.
Its story, too, was something else; it features a parallel narrative simultaneously telling the story of two different characters at the same time. To add to everything else, its ending was such that fans are still wondering if this game will get a sequel or not. A lot of signs from the developer and its latest game suggest that there will indeed be a sequel.

According to a new job post from Remedy, the studio is working on a first-person game for the first time. The studio has achieved a lot of things with its Control franchise, and it announced that a spin-off called Condor is on the way.
While the details stuck unknown for a while, now a crucial feature is unveiled. The reason behind the change is probably Alan Wake 2‘s financial failure and the decision Remedy made about trying something new.
Condor, The Control Spin-Off Will be Remedy’s Brand New Fps Game Remedy is trying ‘something new’ after financial failure of Alan Wake 2
The studio’s job post is about a Senior Gameplay Animator, and first-person animation experience is a requirement. The post also confirms that the role is opened for its brand-new game, Condor. It was already announced a year ago, so Remedy doesn’t hide details about it anymore.

The deal also includes the rights to Control, the upcoming four-player cooperative multiplayer spin-off Condor, Control 2, and all future Control entries.
Per the agreement, all publishing, distribution, marketing, and other rights licensed to 505 Games for Control 2 and Condor revert to Remedy immediately. 505 Games will continue as the publisher of Control until December 31, 2024.

Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy’s upcoming co-op game, codenamed Vanguard, will no longer be free-to-play due to a “rapidly changing” market.
Developer Remedy may be better known for its narrative-driven games – not least this year’s rather spiffing, and very spooky Alan Wake 2 – but it’s also been dabbling in other, rather different genres. One of those dabblings was previously codenamed Vanguard, and was billed as a free-to-play co-op shooter game that has long been shrouded in secrecy.
Behind the scenes, however, Remedy has begun to have second thoughts about the whole free-to-play part of the equation, and has even gotten cold feet over the old Vanguard codename. As a result, what was once Vanguard is now called Kestrel – but due to “uncertainties in creating a successful game due to the rapidly changing free-to-play market and associated risks”, both Remedy and publisher Tencent are looking for a “new direction” for the game.

Our goal was to shine a light on the people that make us say “I haven’t seen them in a while, I wonder Wtf happened to them?” But a lot can happen in three years, one second you are the subject of the pilot episode of Wtf Happened to this Celebrity and the next you are an Academy Award Winning actor!
But as always we must begin at the beginning and for us that beginning began on September 19, 2019 when we posted our very first Wtf Happened to This Celebrity video. We wanted to start off with a bang,...

As a film and television production desinger for nearly three decades, Emmy nominee Rocco Matteo was no stranger to the spy thriller genre. But when he was hired to design the new Paramount+ eight-episode streaming series “Rabbit Hole” starring “24” alum Kiefer Sutherland, he encountered something somewhat new for him: a star who led with his body and liked to toss caution to the wind. So part of his job, he discovered early on, was to help save Sutherland from himself. Watch our exclusive video interview above.
“One of our directors on ‘Rabbit Hole,’ Jon Cassar, who had worked with Kiefer on “24” for a long time, came up to me one day and said, ‘Oh by the way, make sure that anything Kiefer has to come into contact with is padded very well, because he won’t hold back’,” Matteo recalls. “He is so true to form in his character...

Kiefer Sutherland stars in the new Paramount+ series Rabbit Hole as John Weir, "a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage framed for murder by powerful forces who have the ability to influence and control populations."
Creators Glenn Ficarra and John Requa always saw Sutherland as their John Weir, and Sutherland shares their enthusiasm for the role.
We caught up with him during the Rabbit Hole press day for an interview that shares that excitement and shows how different Sutherland is from his on-screen persona.
What were your first thoughts when you were approached by Glenn and John for this project?
My first thought was just how excited I was that they had even thought of me at all. I'm a huge fan of them as writers and as directors.

Of all the great, classic spy and espionage films or TV shows— Bond, “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,’ the Jack Ryan films and TV shows, the “Kingsman’ series, “Three Days Of The Condor,” and all the classic spy films from the 1960s and ‘70s, etc.—the one that mainstream audiences probably know the least well is “The Ipcress File.”
Based on the globally renowned Len Deighton spy novel of the same name, “The Ipcress File” series starred Michael Caine as Harry Palmer and ended up as a trilogy of films: “The Ipcress File” (1965), “Funeral in Berlin” (1966) and “Billion Dollar Brain” (1967), this of course back in the day when movie studios didn’t really know how to franchise something by including a franchise title to tie the films together (decades later Caine returned to the character in 1995’s “Harry Alan Towers’ Bullet to Beijing” and 96’s “Midnight in Saint Petersburg”).

Kline is to star in American Classic, which would mark the actor’s second TV project if it goes to series. He recently signed up to star alongside Cate Blanchett in Alfonso Cuarón’s Disclaimer for Apple.

When you’re a streaming service, there’s only one way to celebrate the New Year. And that’s by IP mining to bring back a franchise that had no business in coming back!
With its list of new releases for January 2022, Hulu is raiding CBS’s closet and premiering How I Met Your Father, a continuation of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Complaints about unnecessary rebooting aside, perhaps its worth giving the Hillary Duff starring series a chance. If nothing else, telling a story about 2022 from a future perspective might play well.
Aside from Himyf, there aren’t any other Hulu original series to speak of. Instead, Hulu is opting to once again beef up its film library. January 1 sees the arrival of Master and Commander, Seven, and a whole bunch of Star Treks. Hulu will also be the streaming home of some recently released film Indies,...

This first remake of the 1956 sci-fi classic retains many of the original’s story points, clears up the bio minutiae for literal-minded viewers and adds a fascinating social commentary about ’70s lifestyles that’s almost as depressing as the idea of being ‘replaced’ by an alien simulacrum. Philip Kaufman’s first big hit is a worthy picture that’s maintained its high reputation … and it’s even scarier in today’s socio-political climate.
