Hogwash
Valid_ID16 October 2023
This so-called documentary features a few young women who claim to be Amish witches.

The first obvious fact is that these young women are very willing to live in "the world" of TV, cameras, and makeup rather than the monastic Amish life.

Secondly, their claims of witchcraft are not supported by anything other than some electric glitches that may very well be set up.

The "witchcraft" consists of the laying of the hands, which is a biblical concept, and medicinal treatment. So despite the claims of witchcraft, there is nothing interesting or surprising here.

And thirdly, the content of this time-wasting reality TV hogwash is lacking any sense.

Totally fake Do not bother.

Living in PA I have met many Amish. First off they are not found of photos taken. They are typically friendly but not about tell all. Most all I have met have a very heavy accent because English is not their first language. Now many go to Liganeer and I think many of those Amish are either fake or not true Amish. The ones I know are famers and live in small communities. I can not even bring self to watch the rest of the show. Maybe if you live far away and never met them you may fall for this but it's pure fiction. This is fake fake fake. I need to fill 40 more characters. Oh they do use modern medicine. They have a yearly auction up here to raise money for the community medical bill fund.
