Gregory Jbara, as Garrett Moore, is really given an opportunity to act in this episode and he comes through with a wonderful performance when he is accused by Frank of ethics violations. That plus separating from his wife gave Jbara some red meat to turn in a very solid performance. Frank tells him to come clean or resign.
Ethics seems to be the key theme in the episode. Erin is faced with testifying for a man she helped put away for 10 years for murder, when new evidence exonerates him from the crime committed. Problem is that the man is totally off the wall and even goes so far to threaten Erin.
Danny is still on Jamie to move up the ladder to detective on the force, but the latter remains adamant that he is content to what he is doing on the streets daily. Danny can use this argument again when Jamie finds there is something funny that a police officer did not respond right away when the victim was the guy's wife. A twist ending regarding who the real killer was is surprising, but in a love triangle, you can almost expect anything.
