• Cedric : [after Wormwood talked about him being evil]  It's true, Sofia. Everything he said is true.

  Sofia : [sadly]  Why?

  Cedric : Because, my dear Princess, once I am king, everyone will finally see what a great sorcerer I truly am!

  Sofia : [heartbroken]  I-I thought you were my friend.

  Cedric : [hesitantly]  Well, it appears that you... you were wrong. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a kingdom to overthrow!

  [after he walks out, Sofia stands there sadly for a moment, then gets a determined look on her face and goes after him] 

• King Roland II : [after Sofia has offered to give Cedric another chance]  All right, Cedric. I will reinstate you as royal sorcerer on one condition.

  Cedric : Anything, sire.

  King Roland II : I want you to remember that if it wasn't for Sofia, you would have been on the next carriage out of the kingdom.

  Cedric : Never fear your majesty. I shall never forget all the princess has done for me. I am in your debt.

  King Roland II : Then I believe this belongs to you.

  [hands Cedric's wand to Sofia, who gives it to Cedric] 

  Cedric : Thank you, your highness. And, thank you, Princess Sofia.

  Prince James : Hey, Mr. Cedric. Now that you have your wand back, can you put on a magic show for us?

  Sofia : [sternly]  James!

  Cedric : Gladly, my Prince. I have some marvelous new spells, but I cannot do a show without the help of my trusty apprentice.

  Sofia : [smiles]  That's me!
