(minor spoilers) people are going to hate me but when i see people making spin-off's, fighting,spending money even talking about it on the news about a mediocre TV show is just not right there are amazing Greek TV shows like Το Νησί and they don't get as much popularity of a mediocre reboot of some old TV series is just something science can't answer.
The idea is 12 "Celebrities" and 12 average Joe's are on an island and they must survive the choices of the audience, the different life style and some injuries.Sounds like that American show that every country has it's version but i don't think that are that popular to have a spin- off
Some moments are really scripted like one guy can beat a team of 5 dudes in a row or a girl has injured her foot and when she falls in the water it hurts. There are 3 types of prize if we don't include the quizzes Immunities,Communication and some prize food or something like a hotel or psVR. If a team loses immunity than they have to vote each other and the audience must vote two of the three members that have the most votes someone to stay in the game the audience must vote the two of the three with the most votes stay the member with the lowest votes goes away, thanks to the internet we can see the fan base and who will go to the finals, the communication gives them a sponsored tablet or phone to talk to a family member. One episode is 2 hours and 30 minutes if we remove commercials and the tedious last 30 minutes of the previous episode replay and there are 80 episodes so don't think about a marathon. The last episodes where boring they have the same run time without the replay and the players that "survived" sit on chairs and wait for 3 hours to see who is going to go to the finals and take the price they don't race or do something they sit and talk and you vote for three hours and some votes are rigged as the mother of an average Joe said. does it worth watching all episodes and the upcoming second season no i started watching it at episode 50 but i can see the idea and maybe the second season can be better but that's the show that stole the soundtrack from mass effect 2
