After watching Super X Vietnamese first superhero movie I like to taking back my unfair judgment about the movie when I watch and review Loi Bao because despite the low budget and a pretty gamble premise about a queer superhero the movie turns out to be quite enjoyable and charming beyond my expectation. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously when displaying the queerness of the main character which is a good thing because with a bad story and god-awful dialogue like this one I'm surprised that the movie still manages to be this fun to watch and not crash and burn like I thought it would be. The humor and character quirks still feel forced to me but that what you get when you watch a local Vietnamese movie make for Tet holiday
