This eleven-minute featurette has make-up effects creators John Carl Buechler and Gino Crognale discussing their work on the notorious dud THE GARBAGE PAIL KIDS. The majority of the running time is given to Buechler who does a very good job at taking us through the steps of him getting hired, his ideas on what the film should have been and of course what it turned out to be. He also does an extremely good job at taking you through the steps of getting the costumes made and finding the right people to wear them. Crognale also shares some stories about getting hired for the picture as well as the impact it had on the actors. If you're a fan of either man or the film then you'll certainly enjoy this featurette as it goes into some really good details about the making of the picture and there are several great stories told. Buechler's ideas on what the film should have been would have certainly improved the final movie.
