An instant Saudi classic!

Warning: Spoilers
This short Saudi film is great because it's original and it's personal to the creators, The story begin with a tragic plane crash which we will find out later (yet it was shown in the intro) it also made a time jump around 40 years ahead while the people don't have any clue about what hit them. Our 5 characters represent common Arabic mindsets and how they solve their problems.

We see our characters struggle to survive day in and day out and they did a good job in that by putting an order to everything. After that Lotfi was pushing to find out where are they and asking to explore the area for a possible town nearby, which found a resistance at the beginning because "we know this place why bother to go to another?" This exploration failed because Mohammed lied and used fear to convince Lotfi that this was a war zone and it's loaded with mines. Story goes until Lotfi is fed up with the situation after 3 months trapped there and decides to go out no matter what followed by Adnan and Hasan, which pushed Mohamed to reveal his true identity and confront the guys who are about to jeopardize his mission and he threaten them using his gun, the fear again. Then a random guy showed up from our time who faced them with the actual reality, this guy told them about a problem they have never thought about and told them it's only 10 km to the high way so you can come and see, here Mohammed has lost it because not only his mission is now means nothing but also he refused to believe the reality and even didn't give a chance to check if what said was true or not, decided to kill this guy and used a religious argument to justify what he did, and screaming about it to effect their opinion and he succeeded, while Lotfi is saying what you said is obviously wrong, Hasan and Adnan under the religious & fear pressure agreed to Mohammed and then trying to silence Lotfi. Next shot time passed by and all of them are dead because they shut down their brains except for Lotfi he was a victim to their stupidity. Brilliant.

I loved this film; the screen play is great, and it is what makes any movie great. It represents the culture of the writers and represent a good understanding of it. The music selected was awesome and they just put me in the mood and the effects was smart and did the job perfectly, did I mention the movie is funny as hell?

Last thing I loved the touch of making the name of the rational character of the film Lotfi Zaini, a great artist and human being who made a huge impact on the Saudi culture even if he wasn't at the front picture always, may Allah rest his soul.

Unlike the episode of (the rat) this one gets 9 out of 10 in the worst cases, the story was amazing the dialogue was great the acting was good and the ending was consistent with the story. Over all the episode was amazing for a Saudi directing. I really enjoyed watching it.
