I mean no offence to the cast. There was some great work done here. However I just can't forgive the writers and the show for all the problematic, immoral and outright illegal behavior.
Lets start with the coach and his younger boyfriend, it is evident through the timeline that the coach started dating this guy while he was still underage. Kan was a minor and Coach Tee is a pedophile. This is not romance it is grooming.
Move on to the main character Waii who tried to rape Apo after torturing him for weeks. Not only is it never addressed again but we are expected to believe Apo then falls in love with him. This whole relationship is incredibly toxic off this one point alone, without all the other messed up stuff Waii does.
Now I loved Fah, but having him end up with Pan is just messed up. A lesbian is not going to just fall in love with a man because he's really sweet. If they were changing her sexuality that needed to be stated clearly. There is nothing wrong with being Bi but if TV shows go around acting like peoples sexual preferences can be changed on a dime it leads to real life conflicts. We have a learning and growing period when it happens to main characters and it should have been portrayed here as well and it could have been done with minimal airtime.
GMMTV pooped in the bed with this one and the cast and crew did their best to make it work which is why it is watchable.
