See above. Unbelievably cheap looking film. One of the worst I've seen in awhile.

Seen at the Nacogdoches film festival. Atrocious. Ruth Buzzi was there in person and seemed to have dementia and I got the sense she did not know she was in the movie while they were filming it.
Scenes happen at random and the story has no real propulsion. The film abruptly seems to imply it was all a dream. Confusing.
The film's depiction of gay people is laughable and I question strongly if the writer has ever met one.
Worst of all this film is just plain boring. I've seen several SFA summer features over the years living in East Texas and this is among the worst. Much like the awful All Good Years it is written by General Hospital's Brad Maule who seems to have maneuvered his way into a pitiful second act occasionally writing tripe that most locals are too nice to tell him is bad.
