Inspired by a story told to Brad Maule by one of his film students.
Screened once at the 2020 Nacogdoches Film Festival and never shown publicly again.
The original script called for a longer ending with an epilogue where the family is all gathered at home sometime later and watching a soap opera on the TV. Mysteriously, Glenn appears on the TV alive. After this there was to be a Bollywood style dance number with the cast and crew to a song with lyrics by writer/producer Brad Maule. The epilogue with the family gathering was shot but the dance number was never filmed as part of the director and the producers' disagreement over the tone of the movie.
The epilogue was ultimately discarded by the producers as they found it did not work as shot. This led to the film's final ending which implies the entire film was a daydream.

Most of Ruth Buzzi's dialogue is improvised.
