If you like to see "normal gay couples".

I found it interesting and beautiful. It tell the story of a relationship from the beginning until the end using the conception of Proust's memory. How in a second you can watch an entire story before your eyes.

It certainly does not show anything new but the picture of a gay couple if beyond normality.

Another triumph of narcissism over substance

Within minutes, it was very easy to recognize this was just another self-indulgent, narcissistic display, written by yet another wannabe actor just so he can mug for the camera in his many close-ups and showcase his "abilities" (in this case see: lack thereof). The main character doesn't do much except for smoke, walk around and wash (we do get a bit of variety; in one scene he's showering while in another he's in a bathtub...so there's that). This is essentially just a bunch of scenes and facial expressions put together to fool people unfamiliar with the genre into thinking it is somehow profound, so they will create a much more meaningful story-line and plot in their mind.

too familiar story

The first temptation is to reduce it at cinematography. The story is too familiar, too simplistic and it seems simple pretext for a conventional acting. The scenes are too used in so many other films. It seems more a musical video . But a very fragile shadow of emotion saves, in few scenes, the film to be only another one about levels of love, memory and beautiful men. And, in this case, that can be, with few cups of indulgence, the most important thing about it.
