- There are scenes of fantasy horror, particularly during the boss battle sequences, as the bosses try to kill you with their various attacks.
- Some zombie-like creatures look quite qrotesque (particularly towards the start of the game).
- There is a somewhat sense of moderate threat throughout, as the world/humanity is threatened to be destroyed by nuclear weapons.
